well, was the plant IN the rez? If this is DWC you should NOT be using pH up/down while the plant is in there... the strong chemicals can easily damage roots.

If the plant was NOT in the rez...then you're fine since it was just shifting the pH up and down which wont hurt anything.

right on - just read up! Plenty of info on here to get ya ramped up to speed in no time. Pics are always fun... also very helpful when diagnosing issues since you can usually spot def's in a plant quicker visually than trying to describe them...

in response to the highlighted: i usually ph adjust top up solution and regulate ph in my dwc system that way, however i personally have added ph up & down directly into my res with the plants in there with no visible ill effects. and when harvested the roots were white and very healthy also showing no signs of ill effects. but as a side note i never needed to adjust across such a wide range, i have only ever done it with a few points at a time. :2cents:

if you lowerd instantly i can't see a problem.....i think you should be fine.....but you should change the reservoir if the ph needs to be adjusted some more...again my :2cents:
