Hiya everybody . . .
It’s time to pick out a bong for “mom” and “dad” . . . and we need your help!
We’re the collective formerly known as the three_little_birds at CannabisWorld and Overgrow . . . . now we’re know as the band from bedrock . . . the flintstoners . . .
We’re not your typical stoners . . . for starters we are probably old enough to be like a “mom” and “dad” to a good number of the members here . . . heck . . . for newest generation . . . the ones who are really just getting started as stoners . . . we are old enough (and gray enough) to be your grandparents . . .
We’re not as “hip” as we used to be . . . in fact if you say “hip” to us now . . . and we were playing word association . . . we’d likely throw out the word “replacement” . . .
we’re medical users of cannabis now days . . . we use it for chronic pain associated with arthritis (told ya we were old) and other health issues . . . cannabis also provides relief from insomnia that often accompanies chronic pain . . . and helps us manage some other health issues as well . . .
Back in the old days . . . we used a graphix bong . . . they used to be pretty common . . . a colored plastic tube and a weighted base . . . back in that “wasted” youth . . . we pretty well “used up” a couple of those . . . they simply wore out from overuse and too many cleanings . . . cheap glass bongs are not a solution . . . they always break too fast . . .
So . . .
over time we slowly moved to smoking from glass bowls and occasionally small glass bubblers . . . it wasn’t really a deliberate choice . . . we just don’t remember seeing any really nice glass bongs at the Vancouver Compassion Club . . . maybe we didn’t look hard enough . . .
Anyway . . . we are ready again to get a quality bong . . . one to last us the rest of our lives . . . we’ve tried vaporizers and didn’t find them totally satisfying . . . and bongs etc seem to hold the prospect of giving us the cleanest possible hits . . . cooled and filtered far more than we’d expect from a pipe . . . so we’ve decided it’s time to invest in a quality smoke deliver device . . . a good bong . . . it’s needed medically (although we doubt Health Canada will be willing to reimburse us!) . . .
We aren’t rich old stoners . . . but we are willing to invest in quality that will last . . . so with that in mind . . . can ya help us out?
Now . . . you all know how grumpy old folks can get when they don’t get their medicine . . . so please point us to a worthy bong for some funky old stoners . . . folks who may be slowed down a little . . . but are a LONG way from finished . . .
