Help needed to start to album/gallery

Pretty basic but I can't figure out how to get pictures into an album or gallery(btw whats the diff between the two?). Haven't done it before so if someone could point me to the right spot where it tells how to do it it will be much appreciated. Thanks!

Best to use the forum albums because they allow higher resolution for your photos

Help needed to start to album/gallery

Where is the information located on how to transfer pics into a gallery/album(and whats the difference between the two?). I know its basic but I can't find how to do it. I don't have a problem posting pics in threads from my computer, just can't start an album. Thanks

Look at the top left hand corner on the forum menu, and click on "My IC".

You then should see on the left side a control panel with many options. Look under networking and click on Pictures & Albums. You then should have an option of creating a new album.

At the top of the page click User Menu and select My Albums. At the bottom of the page click the Create New Album button, enter a Title and Description and click the Submit button. Click the Upload Images Button and then click the Browse button and select the picture you want from your computer. Click the Upload Picture button and if you want you can change the default picture name in the caption field to be more descriptive but it is not required. Click the Save Changes button and the picture is in your Album.
