Help needed to figure out dry measure for baking

Hi,

So, as we all know, a common security measure that many people adhere to is not to keep scales or measuring/packaging equipment near their grow. This is something that I adhere to with great zeal. This leads to a problem, though, as I can quit easily and surprisingly accurately eyeball measurements when it comes to buds, but I am trying to (fairly) accurately measure kif. I was hoping that someone here could give me some idea as to what a gram of dry resin looks like. For example, would it be equivalent in volume to a teaspoon full? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

i keep a scale in the kitchen...if anyone ever asks its for measuring flour and such for baking. i see your point about not having it near your grow...btu what i do is put a paper plate on the scale that tare it (makes the measurement read 0 ) then put the weed on the plate. NO residue whatso ever :) hope my trick helps someone
