HELP!!! Need to pass a drug test

Hey guys. The company I'm looking to go to work for has a saliva test that they use. I had not intended to need to take a drug test so I've been smoking once or twice per day for the last few weeks. I have someone to urinate for me but the problem is I've been told they use a test that is oral. Do any of you know of any detox products out there or any other VALID way of passing this test? I would appreciate any help or advice.

joe, I've been doing some homework in this department, and I'm sorry to say...





...you're screwed. Read up on the dilution method. Works for urine tests, but not so sure on the saliva thing. Actually, I've never even heard about beating an oral test or even taking one for that matter..

The dilution method works in hand with eating red meat and taking aspirin and vitamin B and B12 to replace creatine and create specific gravity in the urine so it doesn't come up dilute. A tall,thin guy with a fast metabolism who does exercise and uses the dilution method might be able to test negative in 3-5 days as opposed to someone over-weight with a slow metabolism who could test negative in 7-10 days.

There is some good reading to be had out there on the subject, but I fear thats all it is, is reading. In my situation, I can't use a detox as that is tested for as well.

Actually I've been reading up on it since I posted this and I've yet to see an oral test that can detect MJ for more than 4 days of usage. I'm still reading but it's pretty positive stuff. By the time I take the test I'll have been able to stop smoking for about a week.

That are mouthwashes that you can buy that you take an hour before the test. The good part is pot only tests in saliva for about three days....

I have never seen a company use the saliva test for drugs for the simple reason as you and JJ mentioned that they are only accurate if someone smoked recently ..... i have had a few UA's from the couple jobs i have had and also when i was taking a class for hiring and firing employees the only topic in the area of drug testing was about urine tests

If i were you i would have your friend pee for you and not smoke for a couple days and you should be GOOD TO GO !!!

Thanks for posting up here guys. It's awesome how peeps here pitch in when needed...I've actually interviewed twice for this job, and just got the call today for my third, and final interview on Thursday. I'm covered if I have to take a urine test, but a friend of mine knows a girl that just got hired who will be working for me if I get the job. She wasn't exactly sure what kind of drug test her friend had to take other than she said it looked like a breathalyzer test that she stuck in her mouth and after doing this, it slid open like a pregnancy test and showed negative. I've looked all over the web and the only thing close to this I can find is the saliva test which looks exactly like a pregnancy test and is oral. A company I used to work for tested one of my former co-workers after another employee turned him in to Human Resources for smoking a blunt in the parking lot. They tested him on the spot, and fired him on the spot. It seems this test is growing in popularity as it gives instant results and companies can give it on the spot. Either way I should easily pass, but I admit it scared the shit outta me to begin with.
