i know that i made the mistake startin seeds directly in my waterfarm now i have a prob i cant solve since the seedlings are about 2in tall and some ahve roots comin out the net pot. the roots look good but the seedlings arent as green as they should be and one of them looks bad has white on the leaves and looks sick a few of them have spots but are still growing i had the drip running 24/7 since i started i just decided to turn it off a for a few hours 2hours on 4 off 2hours on 2off 2hours on 3off to see if it helps does neone no how often i should be runnin the drip and is it possible i can revive them some how without killin them i was gonna put them in a dome but now that would involve cuttin them out of net pots thats not gonna happen
any ideas , on what i can do now to save them

Im not sure but maybe you could place the net pot into a slightly larger pot, containing soil, so that the roots won't be disturbed to much ? Just put the net pot right on top, I know this takes away from your current growing regimen but perhaps as a last ditch effort.....

Hi Stoney,
I have a Hydrofarm and have experimented with different watering schedules. I also do ebb & Flow so one grow a couple years ago...I simply plugged the hydrofarm air pump into my E & F timer. I was running four 15 minute feed times per day and I saw no slowing of growth at all.

Having said that, if I was going to alter the time schedule with such a small plant...I'd include a feeding during lights-off just because it would be too traumatic for it to dry out.

Your seedlings look OK but will need some light feeding soon.
