help my car smells like weed!

Well that about sums it up - I drive alot - 500+ miles per week and I smoke a lotta weed too - and I know it ain't right to do, but I often do both at the same time

so the problem is my car has developed a bit of an underlying odor of high quality ganja ( I don't smoke no schwag ) that seems to be there even with air freshner....

so I'm thinking of a couple of options;

1. Carpet fresh the vehicle with the anti smoke arm&hamer baking soda stuff and vacuum - repeat as needed.

2. Purchase one of those lighter plug in ionizers.

3. ???

So tell me what you would do to get rid of the stink...

i like my vehicle to smell like dank, but you could spray your seats with febreeze, and get an air freshner that has natural orange in it...that stuff covers anything...it will smell just like an orange factory.

If you have your window cracked when you're smoking, it shoudn't be an issue....But I dont have the privilage of always having quality herb.

You can use a Bissel to wash and vacume if you have access to one. Febreeze should do the job....

smoke and keep your windows / especialy if you have one a sun roof open... don't get pulled over smelling like buds, its a evil cop's dream and your worst nightmare...
i was pulled over 2 weeks ago and this was the ONLY time i didn't smoke going to this place i was going. i was pulled over for 100% no reason and after the cop was done questioning me and looking into my back seat through the window, he left and gave me no reason for why i was pulled over... so they WILL pull you over for 100% no reason if you look like a stoner, like me... be careful.

the ionic car freshner works great! Also i would buy a small spritz bottle of air freshner and dump out a quarter of it and add ammonia...it should only be used in extreme cases but it will throw off a drug sniffing dog pretty well..i spray my car with it once a week to deter any residual smell a dog would pick up.

Well since you are not selling your car right now, I would think your best option would be to cover up/neutralize the smell. Vaportek makes small disk 'ez-twists' I think their called. I think that would work pretty well in a car. Would be much more heavy duty than a plain ol airfreshner.

Air it out and spray seats carpet and headliner with fabreeze. I have the same problem.

Since you go to these measures, I'm sure it's been dealt with, but theres no amonia smell detectable around your car is there? Not that its illegal...but a car smelling like amonia would be mighty suspicious...If I was a cop with a k9 unit searching parked cars...

i spray my car with it once a week to deter any residual smell a dog would pick up.

You could always just leave some Mexican leftovers in the car overnight. It will definitely change the smell.

I know when my car AC system starts smelling like crap I put in lysol down the vents with the AC on high and it cleans out the mold dankyness.. but it also makes your car smell like lysol for a week or so.

get a california scents air freshner (the ones that come in the can and looks like a sponge) and jsut open it and leave it in there until the good scent is gone, while or before your doing that smoke some cubans or black n milds in the car and itll neutralize the smell somewhat,otherwise jsut use arm and hammer and a vacuum and keep the windows cracked......but the california scents works for everyone i know

Its cool..it was just a suggestion to help deter the smell....btw the video the cop is selling on how to not get busted is bullshit...he says to use coffee grinds and mustard to conceal the smell from k9...absolute bullcrap..but for those in the know pepper can throw off the scent or confuse the dog, but straight ammonia will can completely block the smell...i dunno about diluting it with air freshner but it was just a thought...lol...
