Help mites

The pictures don't look like mite damage, more like nutrient deficiency or overage. The leaf tips curling downward is usually too much water, and when the tips die it's often been wet two weeks or longer, or too much or little fert/ trace element, or a combination of more than one of these things.

The affected leaves aren't all the same, possibly two issues. I'd look in the sick plants section on IC and look for Joe fresh's thread on nutrient deficiency's, there are pictures that may help.

I'm treating two spotted mites and they leave spray paint type speckles on the surface of the leaf.
Forbid, Avid, and floramite are intended for ornamental crops, not consumable much less smokable plants. I'd use them to save genetics as a last resort but it would take many generations of that plant for me to smoke it.

I alternate white mineral oil and pyrethrum and botanical oils for the mites.
How is your water quality, sometimes excess chloride will yellow out older leaves and work its way up the plant.

Abby normal. Thank you and I'm ok with that answer as much as anyone here would be. I honestly did that. I cut growing for 2 months and cleaned, I even switched rooms.

Hey red laser, cool thank you for that post! I was really looking for someone to give me other options to think about like you , because I have been treating mites for a while now and it surprised me to see this type of damage now when they have had good coverage and are pretty controlled except for the stunting growth. A lot of the damage does look like mite damage. Maybe I should take more photos because there are speckles like you pointed out but also I believe other things that are contributing. I thought the leaf tips were point down due to mites, I notice leaves claw to mites and nitrogen toxicity. I don't think they are overwatered actually I'm positive they are not. But the biggest thing I got from you is probably deficiency.

Some of the replies said I might not be applying the Miticide properly so trying to think different. I actually saw my first adult mite yesterday after I took a semi dead leaf off a lower part of the plant under a microscope. It honestly kept me up all night. It's hard seeing those things. Well I usually keep the oscilitating fan on but I turned it off this time spraying floramite. The plants look better than they have before with a fan on them whole drying. One of them looks like it got chewed up bad by the mites lastnight though. They seem to go to the weakest plant all at once when under stress. I just kind of can't believe I'm seeing adult mites around after all this Miticide. So I'm looking to restart and break down after this harvest. I have don't this before with no luck. This is the best canabis site on the Internet can I get some help on how to start clean

I'm questioning whether the mites are smart enough to find access to the outside through window, the intake fan is there and they are small enough to get through cracks. Maybe they can set up another site outside the house and come in when they want to.

I don't see any mite damage. Broads possibly but you said you saw one. First I would flush all of them, water with a half strength 3 part nutrient, and let the soil dry out till next water.

If you verify you have them i would recommend the 3 day rule . #1 get some blue dawn soap . #2 get a mister or pump sprayer . #3 get some neem oil if you can . for 3 days straight spray dawn soap mixed with water (1 tbs dawn soap per gallon of water). Then for 6 days spray with dawn soap 1tbs a gallon and 1 tbs a gallon neem oil alternating water every other with strait water . the after that spray just water every 3rd day for 9 days . make sure to spray under leafs and grow room with mix. Also spray right at lights out or pull lights up if possible. Clean grow room , all equipment , house , close and keep things clean . you can get rid of them if you have them . get on it soon if its mites .mites have a tendency to get immune to treatments of just one product . u might want to incorperate a preventative maintenance program of spraying neem 1tbs per gallon and dawn soap 1 tbs per gallon (in the same gallon ) every 20 days or so in veg room . flowering room is a bit different . i dont like to use sprays in flower unless absolutely necessary after week 5-6 of flowing . mites breed fast in dry hot weather. i have had mites many times in 14 + years ( usually from gifted clones lol ). I have got rid of them 100% in 30 days every time .good luck hope this helped?
