right first things first yesterday my friend got busted for his grow (who lives less than half a mile away) I am on camera going to his house (he lives in secured apartments) pretty much every day and he handed him self in today and said that the police told him after him telling them everything was his that they are still running everything for prints! i have many previous convictions so i will show up(my prints/dna are on everything i gave him a hand setting it up) , question is have i got anything to be worried about will I get raided etc ? i am in the uk for referance
please help i got a swimming pool in my palms right now lol

um. holy shyt, first of all. second of all, not familiar with how things go in the UK but i reckon you should be a little worried? But then again, if he really did tell the cops that everything was his then I don't think it'll be that big of any issue. dont THINK you have been in trouble with the law before have you? SWEAT is dna i have touched pots , fans , his scales , baggies everything im on camera going there everyday and i live local , but still cant see em gettin a search warrant over that but still .... imtrying to be careful

Don't worry about that; it's not worth their time to pursue a meager 5 plants any further than they already have. Just take a look about, and make certain that you are clean.

yeah spoke 2 my mentor and a few commercial heads and they been laughin at me sayin police wont even bother processing the prints over a 5 pot grow when the culprit confessed i feel alot safer now thanks evryone for the help

it would be strange if they really did check for prints on a 5 plant grow. if your mate was halfway convincing they will accept him as the guilty one. you probably have nothing to worry about. the camera thing and your prints dna being all over there are only a problem if they had no one taking responsibility. or if your mate was totally unconvincing when they asked him who helped him with his grow.

mind you some times it's best to take a grow down even if the risk is small, as it's better to be able to keep growing in future rather then being forced to stop.

the grow was 100 percent not mine i just helped him put his filter up and what not , they processed the prints i think because his house got rushed while he was out and he didnt hand him self in till the day after, which i think is why they still processed em , i doubt anything will happen , its just i got phonecall off my mate out of the blue while i was heavily stoned telling me he just got home from the station that he owned up but they told him they still gonna process the prints, if i was a commercial head they know and are itching to catch then i think it would be a different story, but mine aint quite commercial id say heavy personal

DNA test for pot culprits... hehe... thats a great way to spend UK's tax dollars. Id be more worried about how close of a friend he was to you... did he get out right away and doesnt have to go to court? I think youll be fine bro dont sweat it

I had a close friend get busted while he was out. I personaly shut down shop for a few months tell things blew over. At the time it seamed like a real bitch. But it was well worth the effort not to be stressed out all the time. You say you know a few commercial growers that are close friends? There is the reason for the cops to come fuck w/ you. Small fish are usually easier to bust in hopes of getting a big fish who is a professional at hiding his tracks.

I wouldn't worry. What fucking cop station is going to run prints and DNA on the scene. Thats assinine, especially since they have the guy. If a cop is telling you that, I'd reply asking him to kiss my sweet ass.

I think you're fine, prints take weeks or months in most overburdened police stations, and as mentioned above, they have a confessed perp in custody.

If this guy is your mate, make sure you have a place to stay, money, or a job lined up for him when he gets out. Good karma in spades, and a great way to cement a lifelong friendship for someone not ratting you out. That's the unwritten deal.

I had a buddy get popped, and though I didn't have money for him, I gave him tons of paperwork and judgements, he only spent a night in jail, and has pleaded not guilty. I also kept his partner from losing his scholarship and his folks never even found out, a life completely spared from a criminal record.
