Help Me, Please (pics)...

Greetings from Texas! I've got this California Orange plant, grown from seed, and sitting outdoors @ Lat. N30 for the past two months.

She WAS doing great outside w/the exception of a streetlight slowing down her flowering process. That's when I decided to move her indoors, and put her into my brand-new, untested bloom-room.

Light (400W HPS) is approximately 15 inches from the canopy, temps average between 71 - 91 deg. F. Humidity is around 57% (low, I know) I put her straight into 12/12 the night I stuck her in the room.

Any insight as to what's causing these leaves to droop like this? She's looking bleached out at the top but, I don't think the 400W is strong enough to do that to her. This change occured within 48 hours of going in the bloom room.

Thanks in advance for all the knowlege. Peace. FFL

Imo its adjusting to having a fraction of the light it did outdoors. It looks pale and underfed as well. Could be overwatered too, how much perlite is in the medium?

Hey Verite. Thanks for stopping by.

It's Fox Farm Ocean Forest w/30% perlite, added worm castings and D-lime. Maybe a little overdone on the Dolomite Lime. I mixed up approximately 5 gallons of soil, and used maybe 2 cups of lime.

Last feeding prior to those photos was FF's Big Bloom - approx. 1/4 cup to one gallon. Didn't seem to affect it negatively. I didn't see any idication of trouble until 24 hours after being in the box. I moved her back outside, and even though it's been very overcast, within 12 hours, she's already looking better. I did a foliar feed last night with some GH 3-part that I had mixed up for my DWC. I won't be able to see the results until this evening though.

I was thinking she was in shock from TOO MUCH light. Did you indicate that maybe she was recovering from too LITTLE light?

Thanks again for the assistance. Peace be with you. FFL

Imo FF big bloom is a nice supplimental fert but lacks the levels needed to be used just by itself.

The light shock indoor is not only due to less intense light [ not only is it brighter but after travelling 93 million miles it doesnt lose intensity like a hid will after just a few inches.] but also due to the fact the sun has a wide full spectrum and hids have a much narrower spectrum.[ especially hps] Im sure once the leaves stop missing the sun and start some phototropism with the hids they will perk up.

I reread your first post and im wondering how early you expected to see buds before summer solstace? I have a plant outdoor and dont expect to see any buds on it for another 3-4 weeks.[ 50°N ]

I would take caps advice and get it back outside, hopefully the plant isnt right under the street light and you can makeshfit a nightime barrier.

i would take caps advice too

its a potassium issue stemming from pH
the low rh doesnt help matters.
foliar feed some plain dH2O once ya get her into an airy bed outside
and do not add any more dolomitic lime. . .
if u must correct the pH of the outdoor holes or containers,
use the proper thing. hydrated lime or some other lime (sparingly! you used way too much)
without alll the excess calcium and magnesium that dolomitic carries which leads to lockout
or just go buy a bag of pro-mix, sunshine mix, or scotts +P bagged pottin mix from lowes
its pre-limed.

IMO they are just adjusting to getting much more attention than before. They are getting way more light than before, and the temps and RH are much different than before. Give it some more time and she'll bounce right back.

Here's a couple pics from just a minute ago. She's doing a little better. Kinda yellow still. She's about ready for a feeding. Any suggestions in that regard? I've got the FF grow big & big bloom. I've also got GH 3 part and Peter's 20-20-20.

Verite - This first pic is a S. African Durban P x Skunk #1 that was germed on the say day as the cali-o we've been talking about. She went into flower immediately after showing her sex. I was able to get two cuttings off her before she started really doing her thing. This is in reference to your question about how soon I expected to see buds prior to summer solstice. I certainly didn't expect to see them but, there they are.
Thanks again everyone. I really appreciate the input.

Thats a weird one, I wouldnt expect a SA x with SK1 would be an autoflower blend. Nice to see it outside again.
