I've been looking for a new dog for quite a while now. Large breed hybrid specifically as I am not a big fan of most "pure bred" lines given the health problems.

So I have a King Sheppard (Newfie x German Sheppard) x Bullmastiff.

He was born Nov 21 and weighs about 45lbs.

Built in features:

1) Extreme intelligence (I can teach him a new command in no time it seems, prior owners couldn't find a place to live that would accept a large breed dog so they had give him away, they mentioned he was house broken in 2 days)

2) 1000 kisses per hour (super friendly and I'd say fairly submissive)

3) Looks like a sheppard with mostly mastiff markings, fur and eyes. Also quite a bit more muscular than your typical shep (no surpise).

I keep calling him snoop as that was my previous dogs name, but I feel like I should find something new.

I'm uploading a picture currently will post it when it's ready.

gorgeous, love the sound of that lineage. No idea about the name, though given he's a king breed, Midas?

That's a good one. I will consider it strongly. It's hard to believe how smart he is. He learns new commands it seems in about 2 or 3 tries. I think he has a lot of German in him upstairs.

oh well if you're going for snoopy's friends, it has to be woodstock, (the yellow bird) though if he runs off in the park and you go round asking for "woody" you're gonna get yourself into some situations.

A couple of years ago I named him Charlie. I will try to get some pictures up but the last time I posted them whenever you did a search for bullmastiff x king shepherd pics of him came up along with pics of my garden lol (in google image search, he was #1).

So I pulled down the old pictures.

ha ha silly me didnt see this thread was started years ago.. nice if we hung out i would call him chucky.. love calling my mates dogs something slightly different and its funny how much this can upset people.. in highschool a mate had a Chihuahua called spike and i called him spliff. he thought i was going to give his dog a complex.. damn rat dog anyway. ha ha

thats cool he was first up in google search.

Charlie in all his glory. He weighs around 130lbs now and his eye level is around kitchen counter level.
