What's up guys,
I am trying to design a grow room in order to start and clone my plants for my 2016 outdoor grow. I want to grow some serious weight outdoors next year, I am shooting for 50kg / 100 pounds. I am rather experienced outdoors, but I have never grown anything indoors.
I am receiving soo 20 seeds - 5 seeds from each of the following strains: Granddaddy Purp, Bodhi's Blueberry Hashplant, TGA's Qrazy Train and Serious' AK47 (+ some HSO freebies).
The plan is:
- start all 20 seeds in December
- take clones from all plants (4 each, than choosing the 2 most vigorous ones?)
- flower the plants
- select phenos (hopefully) and fathers
- veg the clones meanwhile
- put males in the greenhouse for pollen
- make seeds reg & fem (insurance)
- harvest (in March?)
- have big enough clones by April
- take more cuttings from them
- veg them in the greenhouse
- put 100+ girls out ~ 20th of May.
I have 12 square meters or 40 square feet that can be used. Please scroll down to check the room plan.
I need one growing area for the mothers and another for the clones that I am trying to grow big.
Not sure how to use my space in an optimal way?
How much space would the mothers and fathers need? If a lot, can I limit their growth by using smaller pots?
How much space will the clones need (and how many clones really?), so I have them big enough, so I can have at least 100 plants in May?
Limiting factor: my electricity installation cannot hold huge loads, especially in the winter... I am left with no more than 2 kWatts (that's maximum, I really prefer to use less if possible) that I can use for the grow - AC and lights. Any benefits in that regards using LED?
So, that's another point where I trip as I am not really sure how much power will I need for lights? Keep in mind that I am not growing for optimal yields, but healthy mothers.
A good thing is that we do get nice sun in the winter too, so the south facing windows will be a helpful addition.
Please help me pull this off!
