Help me design a collapsable setup

i am feeling especially paranoid tonight and decided i need to take some measures to create a fully collapsable room before my next crop. i guess i would need to collapse everything in about ten minutes.

lemme tell ya what im working with so far. i am using a 1k sunmaster in a homebox xxl. (i have two for the huge tent but temps prevent me from using em both right now).any way, i run the exhaust(courtesy of the vortex) through the ceiling and out.

what measures could you suggest that would help me get to my goal.

getting rid of everything in ten minutes.

what do i need to remember to do?

i know the hardest thing to dispose of would be the plants. but i figure a little gasoline and a barrel might help.

anybody with expirience setting up fully portable rooms please chime in.

im just feeling really paranoid and i want to take steps to ensure safety.

you only got 10 seconds if your house is raided, if that. i'd say, concentrate on how to stay away from a search warrant is your best bet.

id go with that. for me to carefuly pull a light down takes 10 freakin min.

my best time is 4 hours to rip down a full room.

dont grow anywhere near you if thats such a major concern. if anything keep it somewhere else so that way your 10 seconds could be better spent getting away.

breaking down a whole room in minutes?! nah buddy. the tents you have are as close as your gonna get to collapseable, but as far as time.. . ..youll need some sort of zen classes or some shyt to be able to move that damned fast

rockwool blocks are in my future as i consider my own 'quick teardown' setup.

One thing that no one seems to consider, or talk about at least, is that its legal to grow other plants inside. for this reason, I could have all my cannabis in 4inch or 6inch (hugo) RW blocks. this would let me quickly and easilty clip off all the plants at the base and try to dispose of them, eliminating the need to tear down the setup. growing veggies and ornamentals (lots of people grow high end roses indoors) on the side of the tent out of the best lit areas and then if cops come and you have any time you can just shift them to where the cannabis was.

I think a hanging vertical bare bulb or a hood with a detachable cord would be key to a quick teardown if you want to tear down everything.

You're not going to be able to hide everything, and thats why i suggest just having 4 or 5 tomato plants in the tent at all times.

On the funnier side you could just build the new grow setup like some do, Yell BOO real loud and it will all fall down in a flash. The Gremlin in me made me say that. LOL

One thing that no one seems to consider, or talk about at least, is that its legal to grow other plants inside.

I think this is key to understanding one's options. If LEO is kickin' in your door...you're going to jail. On the other hand if one has time to dispose of a few to several plants (a commercial grow will be a bit more problematic) what are you going to be charged with? Having grow equipment? That in itself will be thrown out of court with a strong admonishment to the ADA for wasting the courts time. Even if lab analysis of your equipment indicates THC residue, any COMPETENT attorney can get any charges reduced to, at worst, simple possession, "I only smoke occasionally your honor and the smoke must have stuck to the 'tomatoe/lettuce/cucumber/etc' equipment. Honest!" All in all, it largely depends upon the defense attorney's skill, the ADA's zeal, the state/country's laws, the judge's decisions, and, last but not least, your own good sense and being cool under pressure.

the thing is, i am trying to get my room portable so, if there was ever a knock and talk here, by the time they come back with a warrant, the incriminating stuff is gone.

alot of leo here will try to pry info from you while another is walking the perimeter.

guys, i know that if im getting raided i dont have time. but if leo wants to talk, i want to have everyting gone by the time they come back to raid, because of smell or something.

i remember reading in jorges book some years ago, the case studies in the back had a guy who designed his setup in this manner so, if a knock and talk happened, he could dismantle everything in an hour. it takes about this long for leo to call in a warrant and get it approved.

after reading your posts, i think my best bet is to have some roses or similar "legal" plants in the tent. this seems like a more plausible scenario.

i guess my next question would be, what "legal plant should i use? although i consider myself above average in the gardenng world, i need something easy and low maintainence for a cover. i could have all kind of rare rosesor orchids but the cost of maitaining them would be way too high. im thinking some rare cactuses or hostas. i dont know. my paranoia is getting to me i guess.

You have valid points and concerns Swampdank and a healthy bit of paranoia may very well keep one out of a compromising situation. While it may have seemed as if I was being a bit dismissive that wasn't my intent at all and I offer my sincere apologies. Be that as it may, I suggest that before you start your next grow, set up a system that allows you to put everything in boxes/crates inside a bigger box/crate, that will allow you to carry everything in one or two of them. Have specific places for things to go in (i.e. a box for your light/s another for your soil/nutes, one for your fans and filters, etc. Then practice breaking everything down while timing yourself. You may have to shift some things around or alter the sequence of things a bit, but I think that with a bit of practice you could probably get everything broken down and ready to go in under 10 mins easy. LEO practices the how's and why's of kicking in someone's front door, so there is nothing wrong with practicing going out the back door 50 minutes ahead of him. Like the old boy scout saying goes, "Be prepared."

i seem to recall a grower called "Nokuy" building a cabinet that could be completely dis-assembled (although i dont know how speedy the process was). might be worth checking out.

personally i don't think of having a fully collapsable setup that can be dismantled and removed in x minutes. instead i think of it as triage, like with emergency surgeries. first i take precautions so that i never get a knock. i am not going into details but you can read many threads about this.

so i want to be able to get rid of the most legally dangerous items first and then worry about the other items in the order of their importance to the applicable criminal statutes. i want to reduce the plant count in the fastest manner possible, then reduce the amount of material around whatever its state of finish, with the denser and more water-filled first down through fully dried.

read up on your local laws and make plans accordingly i say. if they are interested in you then you have already screwed up.

My two cents:

Get a REAL hiding space, something real inconspicuous, like a place where you can lift up a section in the floor and put the plants there-IF you cant dispose of them safely in time, or don't want to.

Also get plants with funky odors that will mask the smell. Then play it real cool with the and respectful with LE.
