Help me decided which strains/coffeshops to try in Dam

Ok so I am plannin a trip to Dam soon and wanted to know what you guys thought of my list of strains to try...

Oh, & if I missed anything out please tell me what it is and where to get a hold of it... Can ya also tell me if any of the strains I have listed are
mis-labelled by the respective coffeshops ie: not the real deal... Cheers!



Anyways...

#1. I wanna get the Sour Diesel from Rokerij, unless there is a better place to get it... Preferebly E.S.C.D as oppose to rez's SD variants.

#2. Blue Cheese from Bluebird to see if what they offer matches any of the girls i have in bloom right now.

#3. OJ (hoping that's OG?) Kush if available- Amnesia

#4. Cheese from Homegrown fantaseeds if the feckers have it back on the menu.... hear they're holding out for the HT-Cup!

#5 Amnesia haze- Amnesia

#6. SSH - Dampkring?

#7 C99... is this available anywhere?

#8 pot of gold - Amnesia

#8 Train Wreck- Amnesia

#9 White Russian- ?

#10 Very good Hash (bubble/ice-o-lator)- ?


Any ideas guys?

There was Sour Diesel from Amnesia (not sure which one it was though) but try the Rokerij and tell us how it is. OG Kush and SSH from De Dampkring.
Everything else should be correct, didn't know about the Pot of Gold or Trainwreck being at Amnesia (haven't been since January).
Haven't seen the C99 anywhere and I don't know where you could get the White Russian (but I guess you can find it somewhere).
I recommend going to the Katsu for some sativas and sativa hash
For hash, Bluebird, Stix and the Kashmir Lounge have a good choice for hash.
Check out the smokersguide website... has some good reviews on weed and hash.

Hey thanks alot Blazed_Out, nice one for the heads up on De Damkring for the OG kush Never realised they had it there... I also heard they're SSH is a delight.

Cheers for the heads up on the smokers guide which is a pretty nice site... made me rememebr another strain I wanna try... Love Potion#1 from reeferman... seems they have it in Barney's coffeshop. Katsu also seems to get good reviews so I guess I gotta stop in there too!

Since you like the diesel, try greenhouse's nyc diesel too. It just STANK of citrus and diesel fuel...kind of had a tinge of mayonnaise to it. go figure. It was the strongest smelling of all the pot I came across in the dam..and that's saying something...

I haven't been back to the dam since 2003, but anything from Amnesia back then was tops. I got some Buddhas Sis there that was perfectly grown and cured...awesome.

Grey Area has awesome raw kif.

The guys behind the counter at Barneys were some of the nicest...to me at least, they let me paw through all there shit and look at it, it was pretty cool.

Try the isolator hash at Central. It was unbelievably potent. It was the first hash I tried in the Dam. I decided to pack a chillum with it and then go out...bad idea. Sunk back into bed and knocked the fug out. I'd like to try their haze too...looked like the real deal. Could've, should've but didnt. Central's prices are really good.

Oh yeah, if you're going to buy any black hash, make sure you buy the best and make sure it's nice and soft. Hard black hash is about the worst thing you can buy..I'd rather smoke fan leaf.

Damn, looking at that Amnesia menu is making my hands sweat and my mouth water. I wanna go back to the Dam!

De Tweede Kamer has some excellent NYC Diesel. It is very near Dutch Flowers and the NH City Centre Hotel.

Talk about a tasty smoke!! And a groovy high as well. It has spoiled me for anything else.

Can't wait to go back soon.

smoked both times really good nycd @ greenhouse did some kushage there olso(one off my fav smokes ever). love potion and mango haze and pink kush @ barneys.
I found the strains I bought @ de rokerij nothing special( sour diesel, white shark, jack herrer and there own sative stardust??). de dampkring also sells lousy jack but damn fine black domina en some top soma strains. those are a few, but this is gonna be a long day.

De Dampkring : Kali Mist (no trip to amsterdam is complete without it... IMO). think about it. this is a 13-15 week sativa,,, not a 8weeker,,, the dudes that grow this stuff grow with spirit

Ricks Hardrock Cafe : Smoke us kali mist (see above ... lol)

Grey Area : Stonehedge (it's not like you get to smoke this stuff everyday right)

Bulldog (old 7th Heaven, Oude Voorburg-wal or Leidseplein) : Super Skunk (for the real deal yo might need to move around to find that old -school clone) :wink:
Ditto: their Silver Haze takes some beating on a good day

Homegrownfantasy : Blue Haze (bought a bag a day,,, should'a bought a big bag...lol)

keep a clean nose, watch out for mans rolling stones, an dem without homes,

above all have fun and pls smoke one for me at GA (word-up)

You make a fine point about Kali mist... and an even better one about the love the growers have to have for the bloom period. I overlooked it as I hear the new kali mist has been indica'd up a bit with some ghani.

The stonehenge I have heard of but don't know the genetic background or anything about it...

I read a thread saying that cannaloupe haze is really c99 or a c99 cross... anybody know anything about that?

this strain is under-rated... it's a unique plant to grow n smoke

someone already said this someplace, but check out the chocolate shop over the straat from the Grey Area,,, (if yo got a gf/wife this could/will/has saved strife when you return home with red-eyes... lol), fly-by gypsies place across the Single,,, 2min walk,,, take a walk in the Jordaan. all local

At the Leidseplein, there is the Melkweg (milky way) the van Gogh and Vondelpark are a stones throw away,,,, we keep hearing 'The Noon' coffeeshop has the best blue-bud and bubble in town. nect time we land we gonna place it on the map.

The redlight area and Damstraat for gift n supplies, catching the clap, and general decadence (no health warning supplied). The Green House is always good for a giggle at this point to see what isn't on the menu,,, forget the attitude snatch a bag and leave (ricks is across the road to chill in, nice cold bottles of coke/beer cool staff),,, rather hop over to Green House Waterlooplein for a more relaxed time, roughly the same menu, dudes there likes soul music early morning, let you behind the bar for ashtrays/roaches, generally more hospitable and civil


what ya doing for food ??? or is it a case of eat when the brain says so... lol
