help me choose Sativa's

OK so I started out looking for o'haze....now I am kind of intrigued as when I grow it is only for myself so I usually go for quality #1. Thinking of going for a run of only Sativa's....

I am probably getting
panama
green haze or purple haze
malawi or zamadelica

if I am looking for the trippiest strongest hazes which would you choose? Leaning towards Malawi....

Going for oldtimer's haze which is the ultimate expression of true haze? Leaning towards green haze...

Panama is in the books its gonna happen period. My friends dad always tells stories of the panama red and the acapulco gold. gotta try one of them. I got some native american grown panama aka pinky along time ago that was crazy purple haired head.

The Malawi is HEAVY - there may be some need for ice cream as it gets you lean.
The Zamaldelica is possibly the most psychedelic, but the Golden Tiger is also amazing.
To be honest, any of those you have listed will be amazing - if you have the patience for the long flowering times, then apparently OTH is outstanding.
Alternatively, you could do what I do and just work through everything Ace has - seems like a good plan to me

without a doubt, Oldtimer's Haze.

I have not run the Zam, or OTH crosees, but have run Pan and Mal, as well as G.Tiger... The GT is what you are looking for, it is IMO trippier than Pan or Mal. There is a small difference between reg and fem, iirc the Fem is slightly more Thai influenced, and therefore trippy, there have been several good discussions here about this

GT. it´s just so good. panama has some excellent phenos too, longer flowering, bit more energetic trippy high, GT is bit more heavy, not couch lock, but too strong to be called energetic. malawi has without a doubt some excellent, maybe even better than GT, phenos, but i only have run 1 each, and of those GT is better.

Gotta start somewhere and so it's looking like I should also consider golden tiger! Too much choices these days it so hard to pic just a few.

Anyone familiar w the breeders packs? Are they separated by pheneo?

I would have to agree with those saying Ace's Oldtimer's Haze. Tons stronger and more psychedelic than Malawi, Panama, Green Haze, Zamaldelica, Golden Tiger. I have yet to try their Purple Haze which will probably be one of my next projects along with Ace's Panama Haze. Dubi has said is a perfect cross for those looking for a heavy leaning OTH pheno with a shorter flowering time. I for one can't wait to pop the Panama Haze.

Noticed you want a pure old school Panama. The newer version isn't what you are looking for btw. I have photos in my Albums with the newest Panama and vs people that describe the older one, the earlier generations sound better. Again it all depends on what the person is looking for. I'd go with the breeder pack so you get all of the older generations as well.

Aren't the green and purple hazes both expressions from the o'haze line?

It's all good man, must people will tell you their experiences to help you better in your decisions. On the Panama I mean over time Ace has worked on the Panama line so it isn't the oldest generation. Noticed you said you where looking for the Panama Red. If you just buy say a few seeds you are going to receive the newest version. The breeder pack has the Red/Pinkish: F6 S1 Panama red and F8 Panama red x F10 Panama elite reversed into separate packs so you know what you are popping.

Here's the details from Ace:

"Panama red F6 S1: S1 of an excellent F6 Panama red parental plant that we have widely used in the first stages of the breeding of this strain. We selected a S1 coming from this F6 red line to stabilize this spectacular colorful pheno that shows beautiful reddish and pinkish pistils (especially outdoors). This S1 has a more moderate vigour and yield. The effect is denser, more narcotic and physical. Flowering time of 11 weeks.

Panama red F8: Outstanding pinkish/reddish mother that produces very high resin content, compact rounded flowers and darker incensey aromas. The effect is very powerful, dense, narcotic and physical. Flowering time of 11 weeks."

I will be grabbing some breeder packs myself here shortly. Better selection of older Malawi generations as well. Ace for releasing breeder packs.

Hey LT. I am only a new grower of Aces gear .Have been recently sampling some , short cured Malawi, Panama and Zamaldelica . I'm sure they will get better with age. The Zamaldelica fem is a very clear strong high , energetic , trippy visuals With no come down.( my favourite ). Panama fem is almost on par, but more narcotic . No come down though.Malawi reg girl is very good, trippy visuals, a lot more narcotic than Zam and Panama . The taste is improving , after curing for a while. Still a bit bitter , rude tasting. Strong old oil smell .Slight come down at times. I have GT at 12 weeks . Smelling awesome.Good luck with your choices mate. Hope all goes well

seems alot of peps are growing the golden tiger and the pics i have seen look utterly amazing.

holeshot are you running them outdoors in the bush? or inside? I am going to run them inside so I want to make the right picks. I know alot of folks will say these shouldnt be attempted indoors as they are not suited and grow best outdoors. towards the spring might be able to throw a few out guerilla stylo but have to wait and see. Have a buddy with a farm close by might just not tell him about it and hide them really good.

I remember getting a few crowned nugs from my old mentors friends he said were old hippies that only grew this one strain and never gave any out to anyone. It was so strong compared to the other stuff we had even the nl5haze wasnt close. Thinking it was real haze but dont know for sure but it was definately sativa buds for sure.

The best I've smoked is Purple Haze x Malawi. But the others are very good as well
