Help me choose a carbon filter for Panasonic Whisper Line 120 CFM

I’m building (or rather planning on building) a 150w hps cab and have run into a bit of a snag. I’m really not sure what carbon filter to get. This is what I was thinking:

http://www.westsidewholesale.com/in...51@@@@&sort_order=sales&pid=6540&CATEGORY=632

Panasonic Whisper Line 120 CFM 4" Duct In-Line Fan

I was looking at the can 705 filter at worm’s way but its rated at 39cfm or the 2600 rated at 94. I was also looking at http://cgi.ebay.com/4-X-12-CARBON-A...ryZ42225QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
However this has 100-200 cfm rating

This is my basic cab design (excuse my drawing skills, stoned trying to use my laptop’s touch pad doesn’t work to well lol)

An I correct I assuming my cfm will be dropped by the duct work? Can any one help me, I’m a bit confuzzled…

Match the CFM rating of the fan to the CFM rating of the filter. If the filter is too "small" it will require extra maintenance and refilling. If the filter is too "big" it will last longer. I don't imagine it would stress the fan.

How's 'bout a noise level report on the Panasonic?

I have the 240 CFM fan paired to a can33 filter. I think it is overkill in my cab setup, but I know nothing else. I did use a blower for a fan until I saw the panny inline. My 240 CFM has a low hum. One day I will get around to completely silencing it. I think the can2600 with the 120cfm inline panny is a good match. Remember that pressure will drop your CFM a bit. That's why a little fan overkill is a good thing. Get yourself a cooltube and you are good to go. I also use some CFLs to light the lower parts of the plants.

anyone have a filter that would match the inline 120cfm panny whisper thats short? My cab space will be around 15-16 inches and the can 2600 just wont fit

I ended up ordering the 2600 for $55 shipped, the flange is extra so some DIY is immanent. Thanks for the help guys!

OOHCOW- hate to say it but I'd try to make one myself if your space is limited. Or mount the 2600 on the back of the cab and push through it...?

My filter is at the top of the cab and out of the way. I push the air through it.
