HELP!!! LIGHTS DIDNT TURN OFF ON SCHEDULE

light schedule: 12pm-12am light at on. I must have accidentally flipped the timer swtich to constant and the lights were on this morning around 7am. I turned them off.

i just got home from work and inspected the timer. it looks to be working properly and i simply flipped the switch on accident.

question:

should i turn the light on a noon and proceed as usual?

or

wait till 7pm to turn them on adapt to new light schedule?


they are at day 48 so pretty far a long. getting ready to start flushing. these are pretty hearty plants so not TOO worried about hermie..

whats your guys opinions>

it takes awhile for the plants to notice a change in the light cycle, 1 slip up shouldn't affect plants, especially if they come from resilient genetics like you say.

leave the timer as per usual

good, the light just came on and they are looking great per usual. i will not fuss, i will just be more careful from here on out. i was PISSED this morning.

Leaving the lights on one time shouldn't change anything.
I screwed up a while back and left the 100w regular bulb on through a whole dark cycle in my 4000w flower room and nothing bad came of it.

I screw the lights 2-3 times every grow. Don't mean to, just... life. Doing it regularly over an extended period... that's where you get screwed.

I was on a roll in the middle of trimming last night and didn't want to stop, remembering a thread on a 6 day week of 12/16 for budding (more light to the plant) I overrode the light timers for an extra 4 hours. Started the new 12/12 from when the lights went out, I have been restless lately so I will probably work the clock 12/16 on manual until mornings coincide again. The plants I'm not trimming eat more for the duration and I hope they get fat.
I have heard of as high as 12/18, but did not see yield results for that. But the plant counts hours of dark and as long as it consistantly gets 12 dark in a row it will keep budding. 7 day timers set at 12/16 make more efficient use of the lights.

I ramble, back to the topic, as long as 12 dark is maintained, too little or too much on the light side is not damaging. :kitty:

I would say just put them back on 12 12 at the same time they were at before and they won't notice.
