I use a fan or two pointed at the bulb also, I think of it as creating an air corridor to remove the heat. Works with 2Ks in my bloom. You can find much of what you need at the curb if you are observant and diligent. Over the next two months there will be all sizes of nursery pots at the curbs in suburbia.

{ ICMAG'S OFFICIAL ~DIY~ LINK-O-RAMA } also i link in my sig there you'll find this very useful tutorial it works on both my 400w lights n/p http://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=29341 i've been running the same stanely fan for 2 yrs 24 hr a day. it pulls through a carbon scrubber a Y adaptor off to a air cooled hood and cooltube, then another Y adaptor through stanely out up into attick venting. the fan itself costs 40$ best 250cfm fan investment you'll buy, anything less you'll have heat problems unless its cold where you live.
