Help, im about to ship this ballast...

Hey i sold my ballast and offered them a free bulb, everytime i go to UPS they ask me what it is i'm sending...... what should i tell them, aquarium lighting? idk..

Projector components sounds innocent enough and is a valid explanation thanks to the DIY people at lumenlab.com. But really, ballasts and bulbs aren't contraband and so you shouldn't worry.

Are they really not contraband at all? I mean, i just figured out i could buy a 250 and 400w bulb in town but i dont think i will just for that reason.

I mean, if i'm cruisn with a 250w hps and a cop pulls me over, whats he gunna say?

Yup, you don't have to worry at all. I mean if you were also traveling with nutrients, net pots, reflectors, etc., you might raise suspicion but if you just have a bulb you can just say that it's for a security or flood light if asked.
