help germinating trouble

So built myself a nice little stealth cab, got some seeds and tried to germinate them, this is where im stuck.
I let them soak in a glass of water for 24 hours then transfered them to damp paper towels where i left them for another 24 hours(all in a dark warm place) and absolutely no change in them , after researching a bit and not finding anything different i could have done I have gave up and just put them into soil and put them in the cab under light in a hope that something will sprout.

Did I do anything wrong? should i try different seeds?(I dont have a lot of money and only have 4 seeds left to try with) my origional plan was to get 2 plants going to start but now id be happy with just one.

Pbbbt...

Leave em in the soil and keep em around 75F. Best thing you can do right now. :)

Scratch (optional), Soak 12-18hrs (24 is ok) and pop into your sprouting medium of choice. Keep it warm and damp (not dripping). You'll have healthy sprouts in no time.

The only time I use a paper towel to sprout seeds is when I'm checking 100 of them out of thousands... to see what the sprouting ratio is. Never to sprout good beans for growing with.

Stay Safe! :blowbubbles:
