I have 60 or so plants in my second room, i got a de humdifier in there bring out the moisture but i see powder mold comming along.. My question is at 4 weeks, nugs bursting, mites flourishing.. what is the most damage that a fogger can do at this point other than an a aerosol burn? I have very little choice.. fogger or avid, they are too advanced to my org chemical tincture of bug buster O and origanocide with canola oil leaf wash.. mutants now i tell ya.

Is it too late to use serangarde the molde killa?

thanks y'all

try a hot shot no pest strip- place it on a fan and blow towards the plants- this should kill all mites with minimal pollutants..cut any mold infected area completely off and hope for the best. Good luck

use floramite instead of avid - just as effective and much nicer to your plants and you. I think you're just about at the limit when you can use it. If you can' get any, a fogger should knock em down a bit, but I'll bet they'll be back in a week or two.

i'm 5 weeks + and i've sprayed mine with hot chilli water, i shake the lose water off 20 mins later. i've done this on a few grows up to 6 weeks and never had a prob after. it keeps the mites down to a min.

good luck

Damn, that's kinduva messed up situation. If you drop the temps and raise the humidity to slow the mites, then the mold will get worse - and vice/versa.

Personally I wouldn't use Avid or Floramite that late in flowering as the persistance of them will make it entirely possibly that you'd be smoking active product if you chop at 8 weeks.

Is there any way you can get some beneficial predators in there for the mites and treat the mold seperately?

fogger worked great, killed like 99% of the mites, did a follow up.. waiting on results.. hoping that final product doesnt have any aspect altered due to the fogger... but anythings better than avid and or a total loss.

Hows your setup? With that many plants, even if heat and/or smell isn't an issue, you need a fan sucking out the old air, which will in turn bring in fresh air. Without replacing the air you can also have issues with lack of co2 and such, on top of the mold inducing humidity.

If you are having mold issues at 4 weeks, without adding proper ventilation your buds wont have a chance at 8 weeks when they are all nugged up....

Also for the spraying, I use 3 in 1 safer crap at homedepot. Its certainly not the best with the mites but its supposed to also help with the mold. Its also very cheap for the concentrate.

Goodluck, sounds like you need it!
