Help finding a program to model a cab

Hello, I am looking for some direction regarding a SIMPLE and hopefully free design program able to make a few 2d and 3d layouts for a few cab designs I have in my head. I am not very computer saavy so please keep that in mind.

One thing I am trying to do is see different diameter circles next to eachother (representing plant footprints) and be able to manipulate and adjust to find the most efficient uses of space and lighting angles. Things along those lines.

I also find it helpful to do cardboard cutouts, simple way
to vision everything interacting. A basic model, so to speak.

+1 for Google Sketchup...fucking love it.

Heres some designs I created a few years back using Google Sketchup...

This one was based off a Mills Pride C13 Pre-fabricated wardrobe closet.I designed it for a 250w to 400w HPS perpetual SOG cab

This one was based off a Mills Pride C24 Pre-fabricated wardrobe closet,set up for perpetual.I called it the "C24 Redux".The mom/veg/clone areas were exhuasted by axial fans and was designed for a 400w HPS for flowering,and T5's for mom/clone/veg.

This one Was not designed off any Pre-fabricated wardrobe closets.I called it the "Lab" or "Mini Lab".It was designed to house 3x 400w HPS's in aircooled hoods and seperate ventilation system.

I had a thread called "A variety of growcab designs byt somehow a lot of my designs were deleted.I've even helped fellow IC members design a cab/grow using Sketchup...I think JackTheRipper was one member,not sure if they went with it though.

If you like,just search for Jnugg in Google Sketchup and there's probably some exhaust fans,reflectors,t5's I designed and loaded into the Sketchup Warehouse to help save you a little time (you can download them in to your sketch).

When I came across Jnugg's saved designs...google sketchup became a hellova lot easier to play in. ...so many hours saved...

When I get a computer again,I'll probably be doing some more designing (vertical style!) more rooms/parts.

Came to the thread to chime in my late "Trimbel Sketchup" 2 cents. Ended up leaving with a million dollars worth of Jnuggs models in Warehouse! Thanks Jnugg. I'm kinda OCD so I've been modeling a plant with realistic leaves and branches just not pleased with how it's rendering yet but I'll be sure to let you guys know how to find it when I do decide to put it up.
