help filling in the grow cab

trying to finish up my flower cab, have the body built, now need to fill in the guts, its 4ftx4ftx6, is a 600w hps a good enough size to cover maybe 5 plants in there? now the exhaust is a little different, i have another growbox which is my sog flower box and i wanted too hook it up to my big flower box to create a passive intake and vent out my big flower box, the dimensions of the sog box are 3.5x3.5x4.5, another air cooled 600whps, both lights in my boxes are going to be air cooled reflectors with designated exhausts, not through the grow room, so i wanted to get a big enough fan to exhaust both rooms while creating enough air flow for both the cabs, what would be a good enough size? in order to exchange the air 3 times in both cabs id have to get atleast a 500 maybe more?

As a starting point, Watts = Square Feet X 50. A 600 provides 37.5 in your space so it's a little weak.

Not sure I understand your vent plans. One fan for 2 separate cabs AND two separate cool tubes? General rule CFM = Watts/4 but, thats for one cab with one light.

Can you make up a sketch?

just picture two seperate grow cabs , and inbetween they are hooked up together by a six in duct, the intake would be passive coming in through the left of the sog box, then through the 6inch ducting, and the exhaust will be at the top corner of the tall flower box, if that gives you a better idea of the setup

So your taking air from outside the cab? Just make it come out the side instead of the top more bends = less effecient... thats what it sounds like and you'd need a/c or good ambient temps n still more air circulation... Slack on fans n you'll run into more problems then heat...

also the 600 watt bulb i have is 95000 lumens, thats over 5000 lumens a squarefoot, which is supposed to be optimal, i heard somewhere once that lumens are way more important than watts, look at flouros, anyone else have an opinion on this? and is 37.5 watts a square foot bad? or just not optimal?? i dont need the spread of light to really reach all the sides premeire, because half the times those will be wispy buds anyways unless i turn the plants, which inturn could take care of the light spread problem

both of my lights are aircooled and extracted outside of the cabs seperately, then i want to hook up one exhaust about 500cfm, to draw air in and out of the grow cab, because the lights are cooled, i wont be too worried about heat extraction, basically just fresh air to the plants

Yea you probably wont even need to be pulling even 500 for 2 cabs... so get that fan and a speed controller n just put it on medium you'll need a fan to circulate in there...

Readers Digets version. Plants are green because they reject green light. Lumens measure the eyes ability to see green light. Lumens measure the light the plant rejects.

yellow is Lumens, purple is PAR

lumen- a unit of luminous flux equal to the amount of light given out through a solid angle of 1 steradian by a point source of 1 candela intensity radiating uniformly in all directions

CFM=Watts/4. A 180 sounds a little weak but, if you're growing in an air conditioned room it may be OK. I'm growing in the garage where today's temps are well into the 90's. Not a lot of cooling to be had when you're sucking in 90 degree air. Switching the "day" to an 11pm sunrise helps a lot.

how many plants can i fit in a 4x4 cab with a 1000w hps , using soil, trying to maximize the growth in this cab for commercial, looking to yield 500-600g, im growing big bang which is a high yielder, so i wanted to get as much out of this as possible, the other cab will be for personal use
