Hope this is the rite spot for this.
So this is my first real grow. What do my roots tell me? So I started in a biodegradable cup. Bout half size of solo cup. Transplant to 1 gal container then to 5gal smart pot. Pretty thick one. So the container was packed full of roots but didn't see any coiling around bottom or sides nor did I see signs of them being air pruned but they might have been. as the cloth never got wet no matter how much water whent through it. Maybe a couple little spots. The main roots just circled it's self by the stem and didn't go down. The feeder roots were tinted brown slightly but as they dry there getting white. Not to much main root as you see but packed with little roots. After 20 min of trying to wash dirt out of them I gave up as it was inposable so I cut it open. What would all that tell you and let me know if I'm missing any thing. Maybe need a bigger/smaller pot? To much/not enough water? My bigger plant arn't done yet but they have problems and think maybe pot is too small, but 5 gal smart pot shouldn't be, idk.
