NOTICE MY LEAVE TIPS ARE CURLING DOWN.... WHY IS THIS???? I HAVE NOT OVER WATERED and I DID NOT GIVE THEM NITROGEN THIS WEEK AT ALL.....JUST SWEET 1/2 dose and WATER.

Notice the lighter green new growth and the curled edges of the plants.... temp is fine so heat is not the culprit.

Looks like it's drowning/suffocating....

your soil/mix may be too heavy, or you are overwatering.... just my opinion and I'll gladly eat my feet if I'm wrong... :D

hope ya get it sorted Navigator

ask aaron about it...

he made up his coco waaaaay too dense and they didn't like it at all...

every watering was a drenching session and they'd just sit in dense moist watery coco and they hated it.... I'd say they aren't breathing well down in the root zone...

check out stitch's great thread on sick plants at the top of this forum. I would specifically check two things

Overnute (looks like too much nitrogen with the color of those leaves)
Abnormal soil ph.

Stitch's thread should tell you how to clear up both.

Good luck.

I checked over stitches sick guide... cant find anything that looks like it. I AM recovering from a over nitrogen problem. However, i do have the biggest roots i ever made... they over took the 2 gallon containers real quick... Whats a good way to check them? NO roots are coming out of the bottom.... My COCO mix is well aireated with perlite. i have never had it too dense before...

Should i step up to a 3 gal container?

Honestly the rootts are really big and the plants havent grown much at all. for as old as they are they should be bigger... the big roots are good and make me happy but i should have more top side.

EDIT: I just checked the roots they are not bound up.... IF i do not have enough perlite for drainage, should i get more or use something else? There is a lil peat in the mix does this mess up the ph? Should i get some dolomite?

The reason why it looks weird is because the newer growth is coming out the normal color, it always comes out a lighter shade of green and darkens up as it gets older. If it does not darken up then you have a problem.
Righjt now I would not do anything as to me it looks normal, since the flush you did I am sure they are in need of a light feeding very soon......
The plants are looking a lot better now since they are recovering :)
It looks weird, because the other leaves are still darker from the over nitrogen problem and the plants are now coming out normal greenish color which is making it look like there is a problem. For right now I would not do anything just yet, wait until the newer growth comes out and if it lightens up then we will go frmo there, but right now let it fully recover before doing something else to the plant.

How long ago was your last feed and flush?

As for the leaves curling downwards, it loks like the plants are not getting enough air/ over watering. How often are you watering your plants and the amount......

Stitch: I Flushed my plants real well after the last post... which was Last Saturday. I gave them each about a Liter of water on Friday Night... NO NUTES just a half dose of SWEET.

Currently in 2 Gallon Nursery POTs (7.5") round No bound up roots

When you said air, do you mean circulation? or the roots getting air????
Should i repot them and use more PERLITE? OR ANOTHER MEDIUM.. WHAT YOU SUGGEST???? silica stone? Hydroton? GreenSAnd?

SINCE I AM GOING TO USE THE FOX FARM NUTES WHAT SHOULD I FEED THEM AND HOW MUCH? 10 days into transition of flower.
Grow Big
Tiger Bloom
Liquid Karma (Instead of Big BLoom) has same properties almost...

With you flushing them real good, the leaves may be still affected from the flush or may not considering your using coco.

I would give them a feed now, light feeding though

use grow big for now use around 1/4 teaspoon per gallon for first feeding and use 1/2 teaspoon per gallon for the next.

Would give them micronutrients with it if you have them.

Only give grow for now, let them fully recover before putting them at any more additives.

How often are you watering them though?

I water them every 3-5 days.... Have no fed since flush.

I think they may have gotten too much water and do not have enough air ( O2) available.

PIcked up some coarse perlite today... going to add a liter to each container.... replant and praY!

every 3 to 5 days, I would space it out to around 4 to 5 days..... first do that, when plants sit in wet soil there nutrient absorption is poor too, so the roots have to stay moist not wet or saturated.

When do you determine to water? Finger method or lifting up the pots? or just a schedule?

Transplanted last night with more perlite.... now 50% perlite. I do the lift the pot method.... they already look better today!
