Hello Icmag
I have some clones veggin, but these last few days I have noticed that the older leafs, are turning yellow, with brown spots.
After a while the brown spots grows and the whole leaf becomes crispy.

I have given them some epsom salts, but didnt help.
All the bottom leafs are gone and some of the newer clones are also starting to show this.

I have just repotted these so there is no nutes added.
If someone can diagnose what this problem is, your help would be greatly appreciated.

this is one of the leafs

see what happens to the plant

The strain is White Rhino

Thank you

I have not given them nutes, they have been repotted about three days ago
The epsom salt was givven about a week ago, 1tsp per liter
I have tried to look in the sticky area but could not find pics of leafes that look like the ones I have.

Thanx

If your not feeding them, they need fed, what soil mixture are they in? WHat brand?
Since you don't know the pH, you should always check it, can't tell you a range since I don't know what soil mixture you are in.
You should always test your pH to ensure your plants are able to uptake all available nutrients, but in this situation, they look hungry and I would start feeding them every week.

You have any nutrients right now you can use? How long ago did this problem start?

The problem is you have more than one problem showing on the leaves.

How tall are your plants?

First off the soil looks too compact & I mix approx 50% perlite with soil. Many ways to mix but that would be easy & help. Is there any nutrients in the forflora soil? They almost look like a N deficient & they're hungry.

I' say that they were hungry in the old pots, and so the leaves recieving the least light were canabalised. You then repotted and introduced epsom salts. The repot alone would have taken care of things, the added epsoms may have thrown it all off a bit. No point in flushing now as you'll just strip the soil of its natural nutes. Give it some time to recover and see how it settles into the new soil. May find that any new growth is ok. Adding other stuff to it now could create a soup of problems that you need to deal with. I never use any perlite or any of that other stuff, just good compost and tap water, so I like your style, sadly I can't use the sun though.

First of all thanx for the replies,

mynamestitch; the soil is called forflora, no mixture just poured it from the bag in the pots. The problem started about two weeks ago, but is getting worse
The healthier ones are about 40cm, the worst ones about 25cm
I can get some 20-20-20 tomorow

sirgrassalot;the soil looked spongy and airy so I thought it needed no extra air, so I see I might be wrong now, and the soil looks like its got organic materials in it
I ussually repot them sooner, but it has been raining a lot these last few days so I thought they got a lot of rain water so they're good, until this started a few days ago

GMT; I was desparate, I saw leafs dying and I pannicked

I would like to add that I did not give them nutes is because I read white rhino does not like a lot of nutes.
So I figured they were getting enough from the soil, do you guys think 20-20-20 will help these girls???

yes, 1/2 teaspoon of 20-20-20 will fix it right up, feed every 7 days. Since you just transplanted used 1/2 teaspoon per gallon of water.

Your plants are hungry for nitrogen and phosphorus.
Micronutrients will be next, so you need to start feeding. When people mean they don't like a lot of nutrients, they mean not a heavy feeding regimen, all plants need fed if the soil is not full with additives like bone meal, blood meal, and such.

Remember not to listen to the directions on the back of the bottle, you will end up burning your plants if you do.
What brand are you going to get?

Do not go over 20 if you do it's not worth it.

If you've fed 20-20-20 that's enough for now. I'd let them dry out & inspect growth & plant colour for next watering & or feed.

fish fertilizer: Excellent stand alone feed for Vegetation. Feed into first 2 weeks Bloom 1/2 dosage mixing with bloom ferts. <<<You need Nothing else in Veg.

molasses: Bloom booster & Flush.....I've used it just recently & I'd say it didn't hurt & my buds a little sweeter! I pour some hot water in my bucket so it'll mix well than top up the bucket & mix in nutes if needed.

One more Q. like the fish in veg, what organic ferts can I use as flowering nutes
I used to order Fox Farm from the states, but it is getting expensive, but we do not have growshops here, what can be used as an organic flowering nute, in combo with the molasses?
they start flowering in about three weeks

The money should be spent on your bloom ferts & boosters.

I can recommend any of these.
Pure Blend Pro, Flora Nova or Bat Guano & as a bloom booster PK 13 - 14 or Miracle Grow Ultra Bloom 10-52-15

Another way to improve bud...A very light spray containing Fulvic Acid can be sprayed everyday starting on the 4th week of bloom.

This is exactly what I would have said myself, can't get any better than that :)

The more you add, the more you will need to add to bring everything else back into balance. Add nothing and there's nothing left to do. Soil by its very nature, is, or was, organic material. If it was never organic, its rock or man made.
