HELP!!! Battling high heat in NoCal!! Is it affecting pH? Causing deficiencies??

********* PLANT BACKGROUND *********

What STRAIN are you growing? 13 Bubblegum & 3 White Widow
What was the establishing technique? (Were the seed or clone?) clone
What is the age of your plants? Plants were cloned 2/21
What PHASE are the plants in? (seedling, vegetative or flower) are the plants in? About day 31of Flowering
What Technique are you using? Using an Aeroflo20 (combination of aeroponics and NFT)
What substrate/medium are you using?(Hydroton, RockWool etc.) Rockwool and hydroton
What is the Nutrient temperature? Room Temp (About 70 – 75 deg F)
What Nutrient's are you using? General Hydroponics: FloraGro, FloraMicro and FloraBloom (2.5 – 7 – 18) along with CalMag (0.5 tsp/gal), Floralicious (1tsp/gal), KoolBloom (1tsp/gal), and Hygrozyme (8ml/gal)
What is the TDS/EC/PPM you are using? When we changed the rez, we put the ppms a bit low (850) but then raised it a day later to 1150 ppm
What is the pH of the "Tank"? After the rez change, the pH was monitored and took about 12 hours to get the rez to 5.5, then was allowed to climb a bit and settled at 5.9. However, today at noon, the pH was 6.5!!!
Are you sure your calibration is correct on your equipment? Yes, both the pH meter and PPM meters were checked with calibration solutions.
When was your last watering? Water is topped off daily. The plants take in about ½ to 1 gallons of water a day.
When was your last feeding change? (ie. grow-bloom-micro-additional) Friday, April 11th
What size bulb are you using? 1000W HPS
What is the distance to the canopy? About 2.5 Ft
What is your RH Factor? Sitting pretty close to 40% constantly
What is the canopy temperature? 69 deg F
What is the Day/Night Temp? (Include flucutaion range) Plant Day: 69 F Plant Night: 62 F
What is the current Air Flow? (cfm etc.) I’m not sure, but we just added several fans and there is a substantial, constant breeze ruffling the leaves of all the plants
Is your water HARD or SOFT? Hard (about 83ppm Ca) We are using ½ Tap water and ½ R/O Water
Has plant been recently pruned, cloned off of or pinched Plants have been recently pruned, mostly just dead or wilting leaves
Have any pest chemicals been used? If so, What and When? Used GreenCure Fungicide to combat a bit of powdery mildew Saturday night and Sunday night
Are plant's infected with pest's Not currently, but we did do battle with thrips about 2 weeks ago (used ProZap insect strip)

Basically here is my concern- This weekend there was a pretty significant jump in temperature in my area and I have been fighting high temps in my reservoir. I now have it at about 66 deg F, but the past two days it was anywhere from 70 – 74 deg F! Also, the pH was back up to 6.5 today about 4 hours ago. The ppms were reading 1100 - 1200. Could the heat have caused a shift in pH? If so, why??

Also, I believe I might have or have had several deficiencies. I attached a couple of pics of my plants and circled/numbered a few areas of concern.

1: I think this is over fertilization
2: This looks like maybe a calcium def??
3: More over-fertilization??

4: Magnesium Def?
5: Over-fertilization??

Any input, even about areas of concern I haven't mentioned, are gladly welcomed!

Thanks in Advance,
Matty

not that big of a deal, they'll actualy correct themselves as they use up nitro...
you could flush them if you want, but you'll leach out other nutes aswell(undesired)..

There are any number of factors that could be making your pH go up. One thing could be that your tap water has a strong buffer in it that will continually push the pH up, regardless of what you do. If the pH continues to be a problem, you might want to try using all r/o water with a res change and seeing what happens. (If you do this, you should up the cal-mag+ a little.)

BTW - the Floralicious Plus concentrate I have is 1 tsp per FIVE gallons of water, not per 1 gal like you said you are using.

Thanks for all the input!

Digital - We thought we might have a bit of a N toxicity as well due to the deep green color. Could you comment on the second picture that I posted (the bottom one)? I circled a leaf that I thought was a good illustration of what we thought was a mag deficiency (labeled as #4). What do you think?

PC - We tried using only R/O water, but after talking to General Hydroponics on the phone, decided to go half tap water half R/O water because they said the tap water contains ions that are good for the plants. Our tap water contains a bit of chlorine, so to counteract that, we've been measuring out several gallons of water and leaving the lid off in order to let the chlorine out of the water.

Also, we are using FloraliciousBloom, not the plus kind. I just saw the plus at the store- do you like it better than the normal Bloom?
