UPDATE...and still in need of some HELP regarding HEALTH...

UPDATE...and still in need of some HELP regarding HEALTH...

day three of flower...installed 3000k cobs and all but girls are being picky...

Overall they look a little bit yellow... don't know why...
20160620_021402.jpg
i'm feeding just like i was...around 650ppm and 5.7ph.
temps are ok and so is humidity...there is a lot of air on canopy because otherwise a lot of dew forms between leaves...i'm seeing rusty spots again and some damage which is extending in all leaves... although slowly...
20160620_021650.jpg
scrog is really dense ...
Side.jpg
20160620_021402.jpg
do i need to lollipop a little more???
or defoliate??? what do you guys think?
do i need to let them grow from here????
or should i continue to train under the screen for some more days????
20160620_021411.jpg
I think a Flush is on the way...even though my runoff is around the same ppm that goes in and PH just a little bit higher, which may be caused by tap water that evaporates chlorine... whats your opinion???

this usually happens to older leaves at the bottom...but this is a big fan leaf on top of canopy...
it may be caused from high humidity??? is it some sort of mold??? i think it is.
have you ever had this symptoms???
Damage 1.jpg
I Hope to get these problems under control with your help because i think they will not turn out really good as this problems persist.
i know that i may continue and in the end have something decent...
but i really wanted to do better than last time...

May it be that i am just worrying to much????
i just don't believe that this is normal...
i've seen plants here that are much much more healthier...
and i want to get better and be able to maintain these babies as healthy as they can be. so help me if you can.
any information is welcome...

What are you feeding them ?, what are the temps running ?, how often are you watering them ?...I see a multitude of potential problems, but more info is needed.

The flying things you saw are fungus gnats. The flying gones are a nuisance but the real issue is their larva that borough into your Coco and eat you roots. You need to tip with diatomaceous earth or get a little bit of sane and put it on top of the Coco to keep them from freely moving from the soil and becoming gnats. You can go to www.growweedeasy.comand they have a whole section on plant issues but if you do not fix the gnats then you will think you are have nute burn or deficiencies out the ass when all it is, is that your root system is being destroyed by insects.

Wow I type like I am in kindergarten. You need to top with diatomaceous earth or sand to kill them. Go to the site I listed they have a butt load of resources to help you. Need to get rid of the gnats first

I also just read where you said your pots were very light when you went to feed them on page 2. If you are using Coco you need to water everyday. Just get a little tiny amount of sand and cover the tops of your plants and you need to water them with your nutrient solution everyday at least. I water mine twice a day. Coco will start locking different nutrients out if you are allowing it to dry out completely. It is not soil at all. When I water in the evening my pots are still heavy from the morning watering but with Coco you refresh the plants oxygen Everytime you water. I water with nutrients everyvsingle feed until I flush for two weeks at the end with just distilled water

could be a few things

are you spraying with anything?

can you show a close up pic of the trunks from the soil line up?

what type of light do you have? how much is it? how far away etc
how far away are those cobs?

Hello @Dion,
i've sprayed like 10-12 days ago with an insecticide...suspecting the beginning of an infestation...Luckily no signs yet...
other than that i have not sprayed the ladies with anything.
i'm using cxb cobs...two big cxb3590 in the middle and 4 smaller cxb3070 on sides...aprox there is 290watts of led inside....
light for now is some 14inches away from canopy...
i plan to put it a little bit further around 18 inches today...
i will post pictures and a better update later.
Thanks for your help man.

Hello @Dion, thanks for youe tips and advice man...
UPDATE

Ive defoliated today and lollipoped all under growth...searched for insects and nothing...no signs of broad mites...
this is something which i had my first grow also...it ended not that bad and especially with no infestation.
so i think it has to do either with the light...probably they didn't like the change in spectrum from the 5000k cobs to the 3000k cobs...
new growth now looks fine and also the more affected parts were the smaller, underdeveloped branches...like the lack of Chlorophyll ( young shoots are a little pale green ) contributes to this issue.
This is just an assumption anyway... i have not yet figured it out.
Cheers.

Day 6 of flower Update...

Day 6 of flower Update...

Today is day 6 of flower...

they dont look that bad...it looks like they like frequent watering more...

i cut off the majority of under growing branches and defoliated a little for more airflow...
they were really dense and i had a hard time to try and train the canopy at the same level and also which branches to cut off. finally i was half satisfied and i stopped... i think i will do better with time...
but for now i will just let them stretch and do minor work....
What do you think?

i have fed the ladies some fulvic and humic acids....specifically the GH Diamond Nectar during all grow. Heat and humidity is OK. But i have a fan which is blowing on the top of the canopy...oscillating but moving the top of the branches...Should i raise it a little bit???
or is it ok to blow some air on the canopy???

i also raised the light an inch ...it shoud be around 15-16 inch now.
Actually these symptoms also started when i changed the cobs from 5000k to 3000k...
Maybe this stressed them a little bit...
Here are the trunks and a wine corck by the side...
actually the trunks are really bigger than my previous girls

Also girls started §Growing Hairs...
so i just hope those small branches grow a little bit bigger and that they stretch a little bit more so i can reorder them branches a little bit better...
I will Post an Update soon...
until then thank u and keep on bongsmilie...

You call out for help to the board, provide little in terms of information...a number of members reply with questions to help you, and you ignore all of us ?

You should have just PM'd your boy Dion :huggg:, and saved the rest of us the trouble of trying to help you.

:wtf:

Hello Bwanabud... you probably were to quick on giving a sentence..:)
But let me tell you that all that happened is that i missed your posts...simple as that. I really appreciate the forum and you guys for sharing your knowledge and i am not the type of person to ignore other people not when they ask for help and even more so when help is offered when i ask for it.:)
Hope this helps you have a new perspective about me and obviously about why i did not reply to your questions.
Now lets answer these questions.

I am Feeding them GH Flora line. Micro-Grow-Bloom with some added fulvic and humic acid.
i have generally followed the feeding schedule feeding a little bit more of grow during veg and a little bit less bloom.
Temps have been perfect until now and RH also..
around 76F-80F light on depending on how hot is outside and around 73F-74F lights off. RH ranged in veg from 55%-80% now is a little bit lower around 50%-65% will try to lower it as Flowering progress.
Currently i am watering every other day and now will start with every day feeding...since i've been using hempys i thought that the water in the res helped keeping them moist and feeding them continuously. letting the buckets get light before feeding has worked nice until now but this is just my second grow so...i am opened to advice cause i know i've still a lot to learn:)
to give you a tip...
Problems started when i added more cobs...
i am using led cobs for the girls... and also the change in spectrum from veg light 5000k into flower light 3000k looked like it stressed them...
can it Be?

Hello Minifridgeled, thanks for your input...
i have not seen any more of those bastards in the tent luckily... and i have used some grow rock on top but its true they are not the best for this kind of job and that i mainly used them to prevent coco creating holes when i was feeding. i'll look a little bit more into using sand...although i hope it was just a scare... roots look really good under the grow rocks...

I also just read where you said your pots were very light when you went to feed them on page 2. If you are using Coco you need to water everyday. i will definetely start watering every day... was feeding every other day until now...
i read your thread and really was blown away by the results and especially by hoe healthy your girls looked so you are welcomed to offer some advice here man.
Thanks.

2 weeks into flower

2 weeks into flower

14 days today...
they are looking good
Side cut 2.jpg

i am currently feeding every day...and they drink more than half a gallon each day...but even though they seem to like it ...all the bottom leaves under the screen are slowly falling, maybe it is normal?
Side cut.jpg

They are stretching quite a lot. But hopefully it starts to slow down.
branch.jpg

some close ups pf the leaves and bud spots.
