Help a New Grower with Tent and Light for Closet Setup

Looking for a tent and LED combo for a closet that is 47-1/2" wide x 32" deep. Plenty of height.

Should I do a 24" x 30" or try to squeeze in a 48"?

What size light do I need for both options?

Thanks!

Is the tent a necessity? If you have a closet why not put in some reflective foil and grow in the closet?
Realistically in a 4x2 you need 250-300W led lights or somewhere around 25-35W/sqft.

Cheers

Agree, fergit the tent. Shiney insulation board on the walls and inside the door? Some kind of catch pan on the floor?

You should come up with a way to vent the hot humid air to the outside, and filter the air coming in to the closet from the "lung room". 20" x 25" opening size has carbon filters (light, smell) and 1900 (3M scale) elements available. Put it low in the closet door, that is the closet air intake. The fan just needs to blow outside, and intake from a filter, both mounted at the very top of the closet. Use 6" if you can fit, it will run slower and quieter. No need for the fancy automatic control, cause you will find a speed that works and keep it there. The exhaust fan filter will keep the air going outside from smelling. Keep the lung room as clean as you can. If you need to cool, and reduce humidity in the lung room, which is where you really control closet, a dehuey / AC combo unit that blows outside through a duct would be perfect. Just a free standing dehuey alone isn't very good, as they make heat.
