HELP! 3rd week flowering, hairs shrivle and turn brown?

I haven't seen this before I am hoping there isnt a hidden pollenball somewhere :(. I am seeing this on the tops of a few buds. Anyone have any idea of what could be wrong, is this normal?
Thanks.

Thanks for the reply, lighting is 600 watt hps kept about 20 in from the tops. i use lucas formula, with some dark energy (around 750ppm). PH is at 6.5 with the water. it is in promix hp. any ssuggestions what this could be?
I am hoping there is no hermies. :(
Does this look like a polinated bud?

actually the tops of the main cola are all ok, it is on the top of some of the buds on the side branches, u know? some were on buds under leaves, so that kind of rules out light being too close, in my opinion.

Well hairs tend to brown up in 3 weeks, were they showing sex before putting them into flowering? It's not heat stress, otherwise the leaves around the buds would be showing some problems.

hey guy,
While I've only got 2 runs under my belt, I've noticed that the plants will usually have a couple of withering pistils at 3 weeks.
Also, any places you touched on the bud could turn color faster

If you've been pollinated, sometimes you will have receding pistils, which are abnormally short pistils, and you can easily tell these apart.
Also, look at your preflower calyxes. Is the pistil really thin and shriveled, and the calyxes bulging? These would be the among the first to be polinated. one will easily detach from your plant with a little bit of wiggling if its seeded, and you can take a look inside. Take the biggest one you find, and if you've been pollinated, there should be a seed by now. (not those tiny white things inside the calyx, but an actual dark seed)
In addition, you can also tell if something is wrong (seeds or pollen balls) by inspecting your plants for spots uncovered by trichomes. If you find a smooth green or yellow spot within the bud without crystal formation, you've got a problem :)

happy hunting!

Same here. The first time it happened I was equally concerned. Just check the trichomes, I think some plants just start browning (pistils) faster than others. no worries

Thanks for all your replies!
after looking thru a bunch of grow diaries i noticed that it seems most people had the same browning, so i think it may be normal after all, im just paranoid putting in alot of work here dont want it all to be for inferior quality, seeded bud.
I feel a little bit better about it. I never seen any pollen balls, i never touch buds neither.
sorry bout the pics:

maybe i pput my nose too close when i smelled it lol
ziggaro, thanks for the suggestions. i will take a pic a little later of the preflower to see what u think about it.

I hear you there bro, I am para as hell about my girls i check them every day under magnifying glass and you gotta make sure to check under the bud leaves too cos they'll hide (crazy to think about how "smart" plants seem sometimes haha--go read the secret life of plants)

by the way she looks nice!

thanks for the compliment bro, hey do u kno if it is too much to feed 950 ppm in promix hp?
i just mixed a nice solution to try to combat this N deficency, but its at 950, im not putting it in until someone says its ok...

im sorry it must have came out that way, it isnt just of N, it is 950 ppm in total. I used lucas formula, (full stength) and added 5ml of gh grow with it.
do you still think its too high?
i hope not i just fed .
if its too high, i think i still have time to add some fresh water with it.
Give me your opinion.
Thanks!
