Hey there Icmag.
I'm having a few issues with my grow.
I'm running a 6 bucket recirculating DWC with a 50 gallon reservoir and an 18 gallon controller.
Everything is run in a Hydrohut Original.
-Medium is Hydroton
-Temps run 82.5-87.7
-Water temps run 70-81 (I have a chiller hooked up and am currently calibrating it)
-PH in the reservoir is currently:5.9
-PH in the controller is currently:5.8
-PH in the buckets is currently:5.8
-I WAS running 2x250s and 1x400 watt HPS' - I've turned off both 250s about 3 hours ago to try and cut temps a bit.. and also to check if it's a light intensity problem.
-The lights are run through a snake through a 465 dayton blower and out the window but still having temp issues
-Advanced Nutes currently in the system:
~32ml Micro
~32ml Bloom
~32ml Grow
~65ml B52
~5ml Barricade
I'll get pics posted in a few, but I have 5/6 pots with plants.
4 of those plants are lavender which are heavier in Indica (80% Indica / 20% Sativa)
and 1 which is some excellent bag seed.
Rundown -
I just put them into the tent two days ago with full lighting. They were taking off just fine with the 400 watt and then I installed the 250s for later and decided to run it.
Today I noticed a few yellow blotched (not apparent AT ALL, I had to sit and stare for a few to notice them.. they might be from me misting the plants with the lights so close)
The plants are working on their second real set of leaves. The leaves also look rubbery and are twisting a little bit. At first I thought growth was stunted, but now I'm not so sure because the leaves tilted towards the 400 watt pretty damned fast.
I've been hand watering them/misting them 3x a day because I'm afraid they'll dehydrate with the 80s temps. I mist them with the water in my reservoir and water them with the same.
I'm thinking..
a) I overwatered. Bad me.
b) They aren't enjoying the 1/4 batch of nutes.
c) The high temps are raping them.
d) The nutes aren't enough for them and it's a deficiency.
I'm running the nute schedule I pulled from BlazeOneUp on one of his threads.
The main difference, is even though I'm running his first week schedule for clones/seedlings, I'm running it a quarter strength.
Thanks!
