Heat Stress

What would be the best way to recover from Moderate to "Very Bad" Heat stress. The Plants are still in 7/24 but I want to flower a couple :noway:

The growth has slowed so i was wondering what would be the best way to nurse them back to healthy. I lowered the number of lights which reduced the heat issue, but the growth has slowed considerably. Help please

Thanks

What is burned will NOT repair itself. You can only wait for fresh new healthy growth to appear. Easy on the lights for awhile and easy on the feeding (regular watering) until they feel better. I have no idea if you are in hydro or soil can't make any other recommendations, sorry.

Thanks, I am soil. I knew what was dead was dead but I wanted to see more vigor again in the plant. Will folar feeding help. The Humidity is below 25%; I am sure this is not helping

not helping but not REALLY hurting. How about putting a nice bowl of water beside her for a bit? The plant took a blow. You aren't going to see ANYTHING for a bit......which in that case is no news is good news.If the plant were to continue to deteriorate I would be more concerned. I wouldn't foliar spray......I think that's add more stuff that clogs the leaves then helps except in certain cases. At either rate.....I don't think burned leaves will absorb nutes anyway. Your only chance in is your roots.

At lights out, mist your plants.

Midway through the day, turn off the lamp and allow them room light. Mist them down. Let them sit for 45 minutes or so until they dry out. Turn your lamp back on.

They'll soak up the moisture at night and be refreshed by the afternoon misting.

Just make sure you don't get any mist at all on a hot bulb and that you wipe it down with a clean cotton cloth afterwards and before turning the lamp back on.

Yes I understand about adding more stuff but the Leaves are a bit into the leaves curling on the edges and also I thought that the plant can absorb through the leaves quicker to regain it's health?

I personally don't think so when the leaf itself is damaged. I can't offer any info about what Hydro soil said......I personally leave the leaves alone because thats not the way nature intended the plant to take in nutes. I think constant foliar spraying will have the opposite effect over time and just damage your leaves further but that's just my 2 cents.
