Heat Problems

2 tents-400w HPS each
Coco -Canna Nutes
3 strains - Mango Ryder, Thai Fantasy, Little Cheese
They grow to the light like moths to a flame.
8" tall soft sided buckets
HPS lamp 9"
Lamp heat clearance 10 inches
Tent hardware 1"

The tents are 58" tall.
That means any plant over 30" tall is burning itself to death.
And those whited leaves are ugly.
Ive tried to supercrop them. LST 'em. Adjust the fan leaves. Tie em up. Beat em down
Nothing works

Heat- 85-90 F

The buds and koalas come out scraggly
with no odor
They live a lot lot longer. Too long for Autos.
Im looking at 90-100 days for little white trichomes to go cloudy. The hell with other signs of ripeness.
Diet off schedule
Lotsa Sugar but you cant see it
And cloudy trichomes but you need a 60-100x to see them
Dont look right, dont feel right, dont smell right.
Just something very wrong.
Only thing I can think of is the heat.
Should be in a cool basement not a hot apt.

Trying to get it right.

I heard there is this magic box that makes cold air. Think it's called an air conditioner
You could also make a smaller 4" bed across the bottom of the tent to get a few inches.
Ditch the hood, and go vertical is another few inches saved.
Make sure you have a fan blowing all the hot air up in your tent towards your extraction fan.

Have you got any extraction in the tents??
If not get yourself a good 5" extractor in each tent and see how that works,if you've already got fans then you might want to look at a bigger tent as theres no way you'll get a air con unit in there.

I run a 600 watt hps in a 3x3x6.5 tent with a air cooled reflector hood and do not have heat problems.

You can get a small a/c unit for cheap.

Looks like your problem can be attributed to the fact that you have koalas in with your plants!

Those koalas need to be shot, don't want them sleeping in your plants mate. Plus they look like old people.
