Heat gun needed

Does anyone know where I can purchase a heat gun? I have a few medical grows going and I would like to see from outside the houses what the police would see. I think they would be rather expensive, but someone told me not too long ago that some video cameras have this feature. I can't believe it though and even if they did I am sure they would not work the same way or be as effective. Any input would be greatly appreciated - thanks in advance!

It is going to be too expensive. Consumer thermal imagers are available, they use them on yachts as one aspect of night vision imaging. you can find them at fancy marine/radar type equipment places. The ebayone is cheap but its not tested or necessarily complete.

you can rent them as well. Google FLIR rental

rentals are 6-800 for 3 -5 days. Purchase is like 8-20K

I have also heard that those hand held flirs are not the same type as mounted on helicopters

Yamaha beat me to the rental advice lol. I've done it and it was interesting to say the least. However I believe I was being overly paranoid about that. Those cameras aren't magical and unless you're venting your grow they are useless. If you're running a sealed room with ac the camera won't show shit.

being a asphalt paver we use heat guns to measure the asphalt heat (for proper rolling) these work well and cost is minimal if you are around a granite costruction office get ahold of there supply dept. around 100 to 150 dallors
