Healing Thoughts for a Friend

G

Guest

I found out this morning that a very good friend of mine, as well as fellow ICMag member, lost his father prematurely and completely unexpectedly on Sunday, due to a heart attack.

The purpose of this thread is to remind him that he is dear to me, and that I am here for him if and when he needs me.

My deepest thoughts and prayers to you. I know all too well the sudden loss of
a father, as I lost mine the exact same way as you, sudden heart attack, very
much unexpected (he wasn't ill).

Just remember, you are not alone, and if you wish to seek comfort here amoung
friends, we are here for you.

I feel for you and your friend, my father isn't well and isn't long for this world. Tears are in my eyes as I type this, I am deeply sorry for your loss. There is nothing that can make the pain go away but memories will fade it in time :petting: :joint:

Indigo, I'm sorry to hear of your friends loss. I hate to hear about any IC'ers loss. Losing a family member is never easy under any circumstance, but to lose one suddenly can leave some roadblocks in your life. I pray that your friend can find comfort in the life his father lived and his love for his family. I was with my grandmother when she passed away. It was at the time a very awkward experience. I was young and hadn't had to directly intervene with someone's death before. I find myself thinking more and more about my parents these days. The older you get the more death becomes a part of your life. my sympathies go out to whoever this is.

I hope these words find you and your friend well. Lost my mother in law to complications treating colon cancer 2 months ago . Extremely hard on tha family cause it was totally unexpected . An unexpected loss seems alot harder due to tha simple fact that you usually dont have time to say all tha things you want to say , among other things . Emotions will be heavy as this is a life change for your friend , as well as family and friends . Our condolences are with y'all. Take comfort that if he was a "believer" , his soul will have rest . Time will deaden tha pain . Just hold onto what matters most .

here is a guineapig of health for your ailment....

guineapigs are powerful agents of healing in Inca culture. they absorb the physical illness when you tie a ribbon of cloth to a guineapig's body and then the guineapig scampers away and goes to sacred underground caves where healing takes place.....

also i don't quite know how to say this, but if you have ever tapped into "the other side" via an out-of-body-experience it changes your whole perspective on the dying process in general.....i just don't know how to convey it in words.....well anyway i am praying for the ill and infirm....

love,

There's nothing like losing your Dad. Life is SO short and brittle. Hang in there.
