Diary Headbanger x opg + (gelato x dosidos) x opg under Mars fce-4800

Hello all
I have not done any diaries for a while, but I have some seeds from @PANIKZ that need to be sampled.
As it’s Father’s Day, I have brought myself a little present…. A sparkling new Mars fc-4800, https://www.mars-hydro.com/fc-e4800-commercial-led-grow-light which will hopefully replace the 600w sodium and save a little electric. I’ll photo it when I put it up.
Here’s the seeds, all planted in a tray of all purpose compost and are currently in a bag on a kitchen cupboard.

I will report back when they pop up

EDIT: I have just realised I have Mistyped - the light is an fce-4800, not fc. Difference is more chips and movable bars

You germinate the seeds by keeping them on top of some compost?

No, the photo is just to show all seeds in- after this they get lightly watered then covered with a small layer of compost.
Then in a bag and off somewhere warm

A little information on the crosses, taken from the test thread in rgs forum:

The male was an instant stand out in the room i was eying this beuaty up for weeks in veg wondering if it was female, just the structure vigour and stem smell was unreal on this beast when i see it was male i was like yes thats the one he is going to be your daddy girls, and he didnt disappoint with the amount of thick pollen dropped

So Onto the girls used ,

After 3 days, 6/6 on the headbanger cross, and 5/6 on the gelato/dosidos cross

One of the headbangers shrivelled up before it got out of the seed case unfortunately, so atm we are 5 and 5.
A couple may need help with the shells in the morning but all good
I have the light dimmed to 25% at roughly 12 inches above- as recommended- and they seem happy. I’ll probably repot tomorrow

Repotted tonight- 5 and 5 all in squeaky clean pots (small pots for now) and watered in.
All had healthy roots, still on 25% dimmed light for the moment and looking happy

I’m going to raise them on a platform tomorrow, my old back and knees don’t seem to like bending down so low anymore, apparently.

10 days since they popped up and looking well. I moved them up onto my high tech growing platform (2 upturned buckets with a tray on top) and put the light up to 50% - so now running at 240w.
The unpopped gelato x dosidos x opg has somehow made it into one of its siblings pots and popped up 10 days later! I will surgically remove it tomorrow.

Day 11
I wouldn’t usually update so fast, but I had to rescue the little straggler and water a little so I snapped a few pictures
As long as the survivor survives, I now have 5 headbanger x and 6 gelato x

Day 18
All looking healthy, hot temperatures in the day but I run the lights at night so no temperature issues

Day 25.
Time for some new shoes… up potted to brand new 3L pots until sexed, then into 20L buckets (or I may get some new 20L pots… I’ve found a cheap outlet )
Quick watering in, and back under the light.
I gave them a small feed about a week ago, and they seem fine and healthy.

Even the little fighter is catching up….

Should add, very hot temperatures expected here in the next few days- 35-40c / luckily only for 2-3 days though

Thanks mate, the led is already helping with the temperatures- it would be worryingly hot in the tent with the old “Heat Production System” going at the moment.
Also saving me over half on the electric now as it’s on 50% dimmed (240w) until flowering.
