Headband SEEDS WTF?

Ok so it has been bothering me for a while now. If Original Deisel, Headband, blablabla is really Chem 91 x Mass Supper Skunk and plenty of guys like Bodhi have both parents why are they not making more seeds of the original cross? As far as "Headband" seeds being offered they are for the most part ECSD X OG.

Has anyone remade seeds of the original cross(for sale)?

Bob Green, man there are probably many many seeds floating around from all the Diesel lines. Get in touch with the right folks and I'm sure you can come up with something! Just noticed MattRiot mentioned having the D-DNL, or at the least, a male from that line. I know nothing more than that though!

• Original Diesel' (also known as Diesel #1, Headband, Daywrecker Diesel, Underdawg) came from a cross of '91 Chemdawg x (Mass Super Skunk x Sensi's Northern Lights) done by a guy known as ‘weasel’.

• 'chemdog' and friends made several crosses that are held closely by a small group of friends and acquaintances. Among them are:

1. Super Snowdawg (Bubble Chem x [Super skunk x Oregon Sno])
2. Giesel (Chem D x Mass Super Skunk)

Well OG is a trileaf plant and most likley related to the Chem-Diesel line. Some cuts like Loompas Headband are very OG.

Some peeps have it some disregard it. I seem to see a lit more respect amongst breeders than customers show with breeders requests.

Is it any wonder that some breeders are seeking plant protection under the law?

I hear you. People need to respect strain hording because nature is our bitch slave and only bad things happen when people like Josey spread it freely.

Sense I started growing in the early 90's I have seen people act like gods over clones. Those that horded lost their genetics with time and now see it was wrong. Wish you guys could try some of the cuts I have seen put on death row by greed. But they are long dead. Only a tasty dream that made "respected" people some money and an ego trip around town. Fucked up part is a lot of those guys no longer smoke.

I know people with several plant patents and the only thing they asked in return was the right to name the new breed.

I think if I was on a hunt for a Headband type plant I would pop some of Archives Hazmat and Walker Sour. I have heard a lot of good things about DNA seeds Headband. This thread was just a stoned thought about the Sour situation almost a year ago wondering why if people have all the cuts why dont they re-make the original.

If I feel the need I have accsess to most of the American elite clones. I was kind of born into that stuff. I also have enough seeds to not care about sourcing a cut ever again. Sure there are a few that I would not kick out of bed. But in the end there is only so much room in any given garden. So far I have about 700 seeds from different breeders I chose to buy offerings from. I have most of my bases covered as far as my taste go.

Now I am just waiting on these bullshit laws to change so I can get back to work.But yeah I am the type of person that will spend thousands of dollars and hours to give it all away for free in the end. Now my personal seed collection is not for sale and I want to breed with it so I see giving them away as cutting off my limbs. But the seed I breed myself will be spread far and wide.

But why a company would sell seeds then bitch that people used them even to make lines for sale is just fucking stupid. The guy paid for the shit. Most of the time over paid for the shit. And now this company wants to tell the guy not to use the genetics he paid top dollar for. That is just not reallity. Fuckers want to have their cake and eat it too.

As far as family cuts well the most popular is the Hollywood PK. Romulan usually has a spot reserved along with some Herrer or Blue Dream. I find that collecting seeds and learning from watching you guys grow tames my urge to grow for myself. I can get decent smoke where I am but I am thousands of miles away from my dad, cousins, aunts uncles, old partners and friends. I am just too paranoid to grow in my current situation. Seeds are an easy way to store my future cuts. I know myself. I will want lots of choices of jars to pick from.

Now I am paranoid I might die and no one will know what to do with the lines I spent years collecting. I wish I could stick some of you in my wil so I know they are taken care of.

I had been away from this stuff for a long time. It so happens a close friend from the west coast lives a few miles away from me. He asked me if I could get him some genetics for a small medicinal grow. I told him I had been gone for years and don't know how safe it is to mail clones thousand of miles. He asked about ordering seeds. I told him I have no idea and have not seen a seed catalog senes the late 90's. He said buy a few hightimes and look around online. Fuck six years later I am sitting on a pile of beans. I think I have done alright selecting. Fuck my collection looks like the old seed catalogs I used to drool over. People are puting out amazing seeds now days.

I have sampled a RP dna Headband that compared very well to what I find in cali.
God knows how many they popped to find it.

A keeper OGKB cookies bag seed I found has a terpene profile like headband, similar head effects and extreme greasy coat your mouth taste.
It don't even look close tho.. think I'll crack that jar right now!
Small yield, slow veg, 75 days or more, head stash, I call it pre-forum.
