So this is a fem grapefruit bean it still has the shell on it for the past 3 days about. idk if this is a bad thing or not its never happened me to before. please help!

she'll break right through it! .. sometime i mist them a couple times a day just to soften up the shell a little more , but it shouldn't be a threat!

Yes, it should be stated there's a good chance you could damnage the seedling by trying to remove the shell too soon.

If that seedling has been up like that for 3 days out of the dirt then its got some kind of problem,it shouldnt take 3 days for the seedleaves to break through

skeletor - thats what i was thinking... its never takes this long... well this sucks because i got a 4 pack of fem grapefruit beans from seedboutique and only 1 out of 3 germinated for me... still got one more, but im gonna try to make this one pull through.... if i can =(

linksys I also had only 1 of 4 grapefruit beans germ,so I contacted francine at female seeds.Just tell her what happened man,she'll replace the seeds for you.Yea if its stayed the same like that for 3 days I'd be surprised if it suddenly opened to a normal seedling
