Having outside plants then bringing em in at night?

I was thinking since the ground gets to cold at night this time of year but during the day is very nice and sunny and can still get hot (I live in a desert climate hot during the day freezing at night) and was wondering if itd be possible to start some plants and put them outside in containers in the day and then bring them inside to keep them warm as soon as it begans to get dark. 12/12 ends here in mid april so was wondering if it'd be possible? I was thinking like I said to collect the plants once it starts getting dark or too cold and then waking up and putting em out again just before the crack of dawn. I live in a remote location so they'd just be going somewhere like on my porch or perhaps my roof I was thinking. Your guys thoughts and comments? Thanks

You can bring the plants in and out but if they dont get 16 hrs of light they will probably start to flower. Even late fall sun probably has more power then HID lighting does.....

Well I know for a fact that they would start to flower because their definatly not going to be getting 18 hours of sunlight but thats my whole point would I be able to grow some plants and harvest them from seed starting now doing what I suggested about the whole putting them out then bringing them back in? Sorry if I didnt make my post clear enough guys.

ive vegged plants using 16/8 before- id say when you start getting under 15 hrs of light (pending strains) thats when your gonna get the switch to flower-

you could setup a little flouro light- keep the plant outside for like 12 hours, then put her inside under the flouro (or hid) for 4-12 hours then- not sure how the plant would react though

You will get bud, but eventually we are going to be getting down to 9 or 10 hrs of light. I guess that will impact the quantity to an extent....
