a joint always tastes better when you roll it and leave it over night?
I think the sweat and oil in your fingers evaporate/dissipate or mix in with the other oils. i know that when i have a toke on somone elses joint I can just taste the bodily fluids

Try it man!. I guarantee a joint tastes better if left overnight sort of like a casserole dish. the flavours will intertwine, well if u use a bit of baccy like me . maybe i over emphasised the bodily fluids part but i've noticed joint never taste as nice unless you roll it yourself, you can't taste yourself lol. next time u roll one for bedtime roll two!

no worries, were going slightly off topic am i the only one who's rolled a joint before bed and then not got around to smoking it because i fell asleep? i'm going to do it intentionally now, pre roll spliffs for the next day.

yeah I always carry a few rolled... usually one in the backpack for a days journey. I find they burn smoother too after a day or so....only smoke my own so don't know about peoples sweat or what ever.

the second half of a joints the best part in my view...I've found myself getting trashed on the last 1/3 j of some good smoke the next day.

Along the lines of the bodily fluids thing...Anyone ever manage to accidently get a hair (musta been an eyelash? arm-hair?) in the mix, and roll it up in the doob? DISFUCKINGUSTING

Also, trichomes and THC degrade when they are broken up. I don't know if breaking some vegetation up and smoking it the next day will affect potency, but it will over time. That's not to say that IYE, it improved the flavor.

Oddly enough, I get most of the taste of bud out of a joint I've started, put out, and come back to the next day. Must be that resin that collects up. I know there is all that stuff about THC degrading and such, but I always go soaring high even after a half joint of some dank.

thats kinda like second generation joints. i think the smoke as it passes through the weed near the roach gets trapped in the weed and enhances the high. second generation joints are great in a pinch as they usually pack a punch but taste like someone is taking a fat dump in your mouth.

well i dont know about tasting someone elses fluids.. But i do know that when i was a teen my brother in law always bought a bag then, he would dump it out on his tray. I
always wondered but never asked why he did it. But then finally i did as i got older he said it tasted better once it dried and it did also smell better or different i should say when, broken up. I do that now sometimes ill roll a joint then leave out some nuggiesz that im going to roll later. And man what a smell try it. taste is better too. Now i dont know if its mental or what but its def different.. just my 2 copper coins peace..

I love roach joints. I guess I am the only one here that really thinks they taste good? Sometimes they have the best flavor, sometimes it is pretty normal. But I have not had a nasty tasting one in a long time.
And yes, they do pack a punch.

I personally think joints taste better right after you roll them. I've found that there seems to be more flavor when you smoke the bud right after its broken up for some reason.

I rolled up a couple j's of chemdawg the other day, smoked one right after and saved another for later in the day. The one I smoked right after I rolled it seemed to have much more flavor than the one I smoked later. Maybe its just me though.

I think the smell you get from breaking the bud up (as apposed to the smell of an undisturbed nug) makes the taste stronger. Smell and taste are connected afterall...

The weed degrades after it is broken up. Maybe it would last over night in a wrapped joint, but over time it would degrade faster than unbroken.

maybe there's some sort of next stage curing process once you've broken it up and rolled it. it'll be pretty much airtight so who knows. the heating of bodily fluids could have some play to part in why other peoples joints don't taste nice, like the line of their sticky saliva bubbling away. ur right yummy you could use latex gloves and honey oil to seal the joint then that would solve everything.

Basically I would think it has more time to dry from the lick and the sweat people have on there hands when rolling the weed or even breaking it up which is why a better alternative is a Titanium Weed leaf/Hash Grinder

Sounds like you need a rolling machine. They are like 5 bucks on ebay. I have the TOP one and it works great. With machine rolled J's it looks so much like a cigarette that I just drive around smoking it until it gets to be a roach.

Also nice for when you have some amateur who can't roll a J but you are busy.. like driving or such.


I've never noticed a J tastes better overnight, but like the other guy said they never seem to last that long.

I do however really like the cellulose papers.. the clear ones. I think they are lighter and smoother than rice paper.

They look especially cool when rolled in a rolling machine. I think oils from your hand would be unlikely to evaporate and would more likely become a permanent part of the J.

So... who knows. I think smoking bodily fluids is probably a hell of a lot better than smoking mold and insects and all that other shit in most dirt weed. Maybe the paper draws out the oils of the weed overnight.. like wicks them out a little to get the aroma more available or some crap like that.. ha

man i never smoke bud with tobacco, i feel like tobacco is an oppressive drug b/c nicotine makes physical addiction unlike pot...i never feel ill when i don't have some pot to smoke, but if i didn't have a cigarette every 20 minutes when i was a smoker i would be one unpleasant jerk, it controlled my life...

i personally think its better to smoke right after rolling, before all the resin sets, u will get better carbueration while hitting the joint...
