Hello this is my first time growing weed, I grew 2 plant of auto sativa, it’s been 10 weeks since I put the seed in the soil. They have the same environment : 24/24 LED lights, 22°C, one is small but its buds look fine (first picture) while the other one is taller and there are many flowering sites but it doesn’t look normal, so you have explanations ?
thanks

its a very desirable phenotype on the tall one. u said sativa autoflower ya?? well those stems are full of glandular trichomes and the bud sites are wheat like. the leaves like that due to plant being sensitive to nitrogen id say. it is def a throwback phenotype favoring the nld. good for making f1s. you kno the actual lineage by any chance? hows the stem rub smell?

Just different phenotypes.
Hasn't been bred to stability.

I agree with Homeless Guy here, the first, smaller plant looks like it's taking more after the autoflowering (Ruderalis) genetics as Ruderalis tends to grow as a short plant of approximately 12" tall. The second plant seems to be showing more of the stativa trairs since sativas are know for growing tall and lanky. I've heard that crossing with Ruderalis can be challenging so I'm not all that surprised to see an unstable cross.
