In November I got a DUI for drinking, possession of cannabis, paraphanelia, resisting/obstructing an officer. In Illinois state law says somewhere theres manditory minimium 48 hours in jail for the resisting. Everything else was conditional discharge 1 year. Basically ment nothing. $2000 in fines, $1200 lawyer. Plus i cant drive for 6 months because I refused to take a breath test.
I was sentenced to 4 day in county jail. Lawyer arranged for me to turn myself in Easter Sunday 8pm. I got out 2 hours ago. Apperantly they counted the day I showed up at 8 pm Day#1 and Monday (today) as Day #2. It was kind of nice, I knew that I was only going to have to do 2 days because of good behavior, but technically I ripped them off with only 24 hrs. POINTLESS! I've done time before, so this was nothing. But god damn. The state i live in is broke. I know I'm not the first. I cant belive they pull that shit.
The breath test was .111 and the resisting was because I didnt want to be put in handcuffs. I stated that one time, then the second time he attempted to grab me and I pulled away, so then he tackled me and him and another cop put me in cuffs. I regret doing it but I was furious over the DUI. I'm a recovering H addict, the past 3 years of my life have been a struggle. Finally doing good. working, renting my own house, all that shit. and then this cocksucker cop whos pretty much my age, and randomly stumbles his drunkass into a bar I'm at when ever hes not busy giving people dui's, had to go and piss in my cherios. Bullshit. The cops in my town are party animal jock fucking assholes.

Yea I`m talking on a Public Phone Box Trying to get something as they drive past looking at me. I left and they soon followed me down the Street and Questioned me about what i was doing.
I was very stoned and nervous, they asked me to get in the Car and they drove me home and came in and looked around and found my Pipe and small stash. They Charged me for the pipe.Long time back now20>.
I have talked to them now, even when quite buzzed and they don`t seem to know.

Landlord called the cops because I had 1 plant growing outside. Cop came, I answered door with t-shirt with pot leaf on the front. Cop wrote a ticket. (Colorado possession of under an oz is a misdemeanor.)
When I went to court - I brought a pound of parrot seed and told the prosecutor I don't know what they look like, but they tell me there are pot seeds in the mix. I have a parrot and throw his extra seed out for the wild birds - something started growing. PLUSS I have a pilots licence and the FAA won't be happy about this! (I also invested in a military haircut and a cleaning for my suit)
Prosecutor dismissed the charge.
And timmy - you need a bitch slappin.

'69 robbery only did 20 months on that (people should pay their debts IMO)
'71 stored some stuff office equipment, etc for a guy, possession stolen property 9 mos
'74 illegal weapon, to wit a sawed off shotgun (13" barrel) possession, cultivation suspended prison sentence, one year county time five years probation, didn;t get a day of good time or work time did the whole nut.
'88 possession for sale of a controlled substance, ex-con with a gun. 240days, got work release after 90, three years probation.
There's a few minor skirmishes as well, I've left out.

Back in the 90's I got popped for cultivation and possession for the purpose of trafficking. My humidity problem was thought to be a fire (a dehumidifier would have saved me this experience). Got 90 days (weekends) and a $3000 fine. Messed me up a bit as growing decent pot (M-41 Hawaiian a sativa) was an integral part of my identity. I no longer grow but I'm also don't drink and fight anymore either just not much into risk taking.
I grew for profit (ie not medical) and I didn't fight for changes to unjust laws so I got what the law was dealing out. I wasn't worried about doing time (I thought I was going to do a lot more) but it was all such a waste of time and money. The worst part of it all was the loss of the almost mature pot.

Got pulled over with an 8th on me. Cop said it smells like weed. I said everything smells like weed to yall. Apparently being a smart ass to a cop isnt the greatest idea. I spent the night in county jail for the weed he found. Possession of less than 2 ounces is only a Class B Misdemeanor where I was pulled over (Galveston County). Got the charge dismissed after I took a Marijuana Awareness class. Those fucks still have my bail money though.
