If some of your seeds fail to germ successfully, dont toss em! Dry
them off and scratch/scuff the clear outer coating(hard to see) off and try again. This has worked for me countless times, especially with freshly harvested seeds. I believe this thin coating is the plants way of preventing premature germing while seeds are still on the plant.but Ive had some strains that have this problem no matter how old the seeds are. Just worked on 9 out of 10 joey's F2's I bought when they were recently restocked. Not one seed cracked until scuffed. Good luck!
