Just saw an article that the french think that nicotine may prevent Covid-19 to attach to users bodies. Have any members or friends of members that consume cannabis regularly have Covid-19?

The same is true with marijuana for a pair of autistic guys, their interaction follows the dosing levels.

Too small to be a real study, no control group, but these were long term observations taken over the 15 years I donated half my crop to those with medical needs. Mostly veterans but many civilians qualified as well.

The question from the OP on susceptible lungs having an effect on COVID19's ability to anchor itself is one to ponder.

Does the cough inducing effect of powerful lung expanding pot buds inhaled daily enhance the lung's ability to counter the death causing cytokine flood responsible for sudden (hours) onset drowning seen in the ICU?
Or would this make it worse?

I smoke and live in a high risk housing area.
Actually curious in a personal way.

Really suprised they have not compiled the habits of those that get it bad vs those who barely have any symptoms. I have wondered about blood alcohol content of blood, which would protect me. I have not had a bad flu in 30 years, and never had a flu shot. Had it very mild about 3 years ago.

There is a good chance that the wife and i both had it early on. Wife was in a meeting with an Italian coworker who died a week later of c19. A week after that she had mild covid like symptoms, I was several days behind her. We both felt tired, achy and had other off ond on symptoms for about three weeks total. We both self quarantined, kids never showed anything suspicious. It could have been something completely unrelated. With no testing available we may never know for sure.
The thing that scared my wife the most was when i quit smoking for a week, voluntarily, that has only happened once before.

I know three people who have had it, one dead the other two are still not back to full health after three weeks. Seems to have been in my local pub which is on an estate. Think I might have had it back in March, had a horrendous sore throat and dry cough. Kept tooting my bong and sipping bourbon at night to wash cocodamol down and it went in 10 days.

Southern Colorado is rather clear. Nobody I know is sick, but the wife and I have gone through two periods of "being run down and super tired" for a day or so now. We usually don't get sick very often at all since we changed to mostly real food, and foods with minimal packaging/processing.

Yesterday I slept for 10hrs, starting in the middle of the afternoon which is very unusual. I feel great today. *shrug*
