Have a bunch of t8 and t12s. What for?

Grow Clean.... Go Fast!
I have a couple of boxes of bulbs that I was given: 32w 3500K T8s and some T12 that are 40 watt but don't know the kelvin off. Any real use or should I just use them as standard lighting for our new space?

Do I need those green lights if I am in the flower or veg room after "dark"?

Thanks,

i use a mix of those bulbs for my bonsai moms to-be, works pretty well and not a ton of stretching

and yes you need a green light if you're gonna be in the flower room after lights out, but in the veg room if you're doing something like 18/6 i dont believe you need to worry about light hittin the plants during lights out

No, but when it was running I had enough to smoke heavily for months. That's all that matters to me.

how old are those plants in the pic? they are very tall, its a nice set up it is, i find that with all the talk of hid lighting, when u trully put your plants in an ambient temp they really perform well. u reaped the rewards of t-8 coolness. did u veg for like 5 weeks?

I vegged the two on the right for almost three months oddly enough, it's the tall ones on the left that were only 5 weeks, and under much worse veg lighting than I currently have. My new chamber has an HPS overhead, but is otherwise the same setup with more space. I'm convinced HID has qualities the tubes do not, but without the tubes the HPS just doesn't light the bottom 2/3 of the plant. Once I get everything finished(it's under construction still because I'm low energy and busy with work), I'll have a much better veg space. I plan to eventually get back into a long veg time. I'll need more plants to make it work with my perpetual growing system, but that's good, I want more diversity on hand ready to go.
