Good Day!

I am Hatch, Norcal medical grower, former midwest indoor/outdoor guy. Been out here for since '07, growing since 2003. Four years of walking nightmares of being caught and tried of the cold lead me out here. Been testing some strains for next years outdoor planting.

Last cycle I ran Blueberry, Chemdawg, OG Kush, A-train, SAGE, Black Cherry Soda. The Chem and BCS where the two to move on. The BCS is definitely not leaving my line-up. Ran the SAGE (sativa afghani genetic equilibrium) since I started growing, trying to find the pheno I like. Maybe next round of seeds I'll find it.

Vegging/Sprouting are some:
Afghani #1 (sensi)
Strawberry Cough (dinafem)
Burmese Kush (thseeds)
MK Ultra (thseeds)
Underdawg OG (thseeds)
Plus the Chem & BCS moms

Flowering Currently:
Chemdawg & BCS
Testing in flower: Sanctuary Garden's Ravnus, Nocturnal, and Halo^2.
Also a Blueberry Headband (emerald triangle).

Lights:
Veg= 3 t5's
Flower= 2 1000w HPS & 1 400w MH

Soil/Pots:
Early Veg/Clones: Very lightly amended Promix
In 4" square pots

Late Veg/Flower: fully amended and cooked soil
Promix, homemade EWC & chicke manure, lots of perlite, guanos, meals.
In 5 or 10 gallon smart pots (50/50 mix in room).

Schedule: add in eight at a time every two weeks, so 32-40 plants flowering at a time.

Fertilizer:
Every month Brewed compost tea (ewc, seedmeals, fish enzyme) on everything
Every week vermi-tea.
Top-dress with EWC prior to flip.

Defoliation: Two weeks before flip, two weeks from showing flower signs, and two weeks before chop.

Outdoors I don't mess with the leaves, indoor I do. Light stays stationary inside, opposed to the ever moving sun.

They were flowering for 14-18 weeks. There's two african strains in there, one orange hair I picked up from Aruba.

I'll get the rest of the strains documented on here for everyone's viewing pleasure. but lights are out soon at least at this location. Other place I run, lights on at night so I can work there. My spot lights on daytime, I'll just be documenting this grow and the strains I am testing.

Just went looking...nothing left. Just had a baby, so my documentation efforts were pulled else where. I'll get them this round.
Has purple/blue tinge, with sweet cherry cola smell and taste. They are some big ladies.

Looks beautiful bro, was it grown from seed or clone? Who's the breeder?

All seed to start, all the time for new genetics. BCS came from a bag I bought from a dispensary north of me, had one seed in it. The mom/p1 was what I flowered outdoors this past summer, rolling with her cuts indoors. Lineage is unknown, but TGA Subcool is now releasing some crosses with it in it. Tried contacting them (TGA) to check out what I have and if it is truly the BCS, no response, I'll just keeping growing it no matter what it is, it's superb.
But I need to take more pics of it when it is finishing up

Have never rolled any TGA gear, but have sampled some from stores, it was great smoke/flavor from the 3 strains i've tried from them (Void, Flav, Vortex). Will pick some up on my next seed order, they have some strains with Romulan in it that I'm interested in.

Looks like stretch is slowing down, water consumption has plateaued for now. Some of my test strains are the taller side of things. It's okay. Added in the next round to flower: 4 BCS 4 Chem.

Eventually this will be back to two strains indoor, but gotta insert some testers occassionally, doesn't throw cycles off too much, just will insert couple less plants every two weeks to make room.

Never stopped me. ran shop out of OH for # of years. Grow grow grow. It's hard for a bureaucracy to hit a moving target, just like a line of ants chasing a rolling can of beans.

Believe you me I keep the wheels moving in the stable and I have a few cut only strains that a buddy made but let's be real, west coast is where it's at for genes lol
