I have 12 hashberry that have seemed to stop budding. They are in 4 gl pots and roots still have plenty of soil. soil is fox farms happy frog with added 20% ewc. water ph is 5.9. nutes is algoflash flower(mineral based) at 1tsp per gal ec is 0.60. these are at 35 days flower. strain is a 8-9 week strain. Whats got me boggled is this is consistent with entire grow. not just a couple of plants

hi wickedpete66,

i'd say its nothing and that they will start to fill up again soon.

However, your plants look a bit too burned and what are these white spots?

Any mites in there? i hope not

Good luck

If you foliar feed, make sure you use a solution lower than 400ppm or 1/8 strength. Make sure you do it during the first few hours of the beginning of the light cycle. Let the plants completely dry before powering the light back on. The reason I mention this is the residue that I see on one of your leafs.

I would also start feeding nothing but water for at least the next couple of waterings. You are in a decent soil so you shouldn't need much for ferts if at all.
The spots don't look small enough for spider mites but I would look for webs and mites to be sure since they are very common and a nightmare if you don't catch them early. THEY LOVE CANNABIS PLANTS!
Safer brand insecticidal soap works well if you have spider mites.

Kroken thats exactly what it is. in the beginning of flower I gave a foliar feed of a tbs of ej grow, bloom and added 2 tsp of catalyst, ec was about 0.50 and that included the water ec which was 0.14. using my loupe it looks like those white spot are actually sugar residue that has dried on the leaves

I also looked at all the plants and didnt see any mites at all

Any chance the dark cycle was interupted at some point recently? Sometimes, just a minor interuption in light cycle will cause plants to revert back to vegetative growth. Just make sure that your dark cycle is very consistent.

Just a thought.

Light leaks will put them back into veg. Nutrient problems will hurt them but shouldn't cause reveg. It can hinder bud production though.

Do you see any new "white hairs?" Pistils? Other signs? Heaven forbid - but balls?

Peace

It looks like you have a thrip or other pest issue. If you look at the first pic you can see some silvery spots, and then there are some more on the other pics also. have you checked for any pest recently? There also seems to be a minor nute def, but nothing to get all nervous about yet tho. I would keep a close eye on the micro nutes and see what is going on also..

if you are still having probs.. try this:

do a three to four day flush. plain clean water. just run thru if you're hydro and do a double water if soil (water, wait 30 minutes and water again). Also give your girls a gentle mist and wipe while double checking for pests. Double check for any light leaks and see what happens. if you see a noticable diff after 3 days you know it was a nute burn or nute lock out. If you see major signs of deficiency, a quick revert to a good nute schedule will fix (with less damage than you might think). If it was a light leak, just soldier on, but keep a sharp eye out for hermies.

The worst that can happen by doing a flush is prolonging the delay a bit. If it was a light leak, they may be in reveg which may take a bit to turn around. just be gentle with the girls and take steps to reduce stress. Stress reduces yield and increases likelyhood of hermies.

best of luck,

SS

I too am growing Hashberry right now, and mine stalled for about a week before they started filling out. I was thinking, "the pots are too small,I need to feed them more, maybe I've overwatered them", etc. But I just let them go, watched them for any signs of stress (which there were none), and lo and behold, a week later I noticed they were getting really fat and filling in.

Just keep watching them for signs of stress. If they look fine, but have just stopped doing anything, just wait it out. They're saving themselves the the last big push.
