I'm sure this will seem like a dumb question, but I'm a little overwhelmed by the variety oh hash that I see available now. First let me just say that I havent smoked hash since the 70's and shit has change while i was away. Now they have bubble hash, full melt hash, pressed, h2o, etc, etc. Can someone explain to me the difference between them? Is one sort preferable over another? whats the best out there?

  • bubble hash - hash made via bubble bags. google it for more info
  • full melt clear dome ("fult melt", "FMCD") - Hash so "pure" it melts to oil and bubbles, usually made via bubble bag method using a finer mesh bag but can be produced via dry seive too
  • pressed - kif, dry seive, even bubble hash (dried of course) that is compressed into a tight ball, block, or button. can change taste and the way it smokes, potency is debatable
  • water hash - hash made by seperating the trichromes from the plant mater via cold water and agitation. bubble hash is a type of water hash.
  • dry sieve - hash produced by shaking or rubbing dry trim/bud over a fine mesh screen, seperating the trichromes and smaller plant mater (depending on size of screen) from most of the other plant material. this one of the most basic (and old) ways
  • charras - pretty sure it is hash produced by rubbing the stalks (buds) of a matur plant then collected the residue left on your hands. correct me if i am wrong

did i forget any? someone else can chime in about the oil stuff
