Has anyone tried Amnesia Mac Ganja?

starin' at the world through my rearview
he end result is beautiful: top medical grade sativa. But the way to reach my goal was not a bed of roses. Half of the seeds did not germinate as I am used to. After that, exactly half of the plants turned out to be males.

The height of the plants was very variable, but the yield was excellent, and the quality was fantastic.

I harvested the plants after 72 days of flowering. Some plants could have continued to flower for a little longer. But because of budrot on plant # 9, I decided to harvest them all together.

When harvesting, I only cut the large leaves. Then I cut the branches into pieces so that I could put each plant in a 3 liter pot. That way the plants have cured for almost 2 months, after which I have manicured them.

During curing I have been able to test the quality several times. The first few times I found that they had little effect. But the more I tried, the more I started to appreciate the effect. In recent months I had mainly used Indica's, and I probably expected the cough-locking effect. But this did not happen. The high is not at all bodystoned and the effect is therefore very different from indicas. The plant works very euphoric, uplifting and gives you a wonderful social intoxication.

The scent is, as with seed plants, quite often different from plant to plant. The general amnesia characteristics appear to a greater or lesser extent in all plants. They all have a somewhat more spicy sativa haze aroma. Some are fresher and fruitier than the others. The most fruity reminds me most of the classic Amnesia haze. They also all have a hashish odor.

Although I prefer to vape my cannabis, I find this AMG irresistibly nice for pure smoking. She has a wonderful taste, which is less pronounced when vaping. She smokes wonderfully. You feel the tickle well in advance, so you can dose perfectly. No unstoppable cough after a greedy hit. Because the buds contain many resins, it is not necessary to re-light your blunt all the time when smoking.

The buds were therefore extremely sticky when harvesting. This also made me decide to opt for a dry cut instead of a wet cut. For example, the small leaves are nicely curved along with the buds, which gave me a beautiful natural result.

The effect is great. Very pleasant, not overly euphoric, but very social. One of my favorites.

Here I find smoke report for you on gro*****s. he growed 25 seeds.

As far as I can tell from this thread the mac strain doesn't breed very well and only the true cut is worthwhile, I was also interested but decided to invest my time elsewhere after reading this thread

After reading some of the thread it looks like a different strain? Maybe different lineage to Mac1?

I have the seeds coming anyway from https://www.cannabis-seeds-bank.co.u...anja/prod_5900
They are a replacement for some Cookies Gelato I purchased that hermied and they were kind enough to offer a replacement free of charge :good:
If it's any good I will post up :)

Seems like you are right.

Amnesia Mac Ganja (AMG) - Welcome To The Award-Winning Mac Squad
Some strains end up winning an award or two, and while they should be proud, real champions stay at the top of their game. Amnesia Mac Ganja is an incredible creation by “the Ganja Man” himself, deriving from the legendary Amnesia and Mac Ganja Haze strains. She may only be 80% sativa, but this green goddess delivers a supercharged high straight to the inner sanctum of your mind. If you are wondering how one strain can have such a profound impact, you only need to look at her 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017 cup wins. As we said, real champions stay at the top of their game.

Complex Flavours and Euphoric Effects
Spicy earth flavours with hints of herbal tea provoke a nostalgic response from cannabis connoisseurs. Unsurprisingly, those inexperienced in good ol’ Mary Jane can be easily overwhelmed by AMG's dominant force. The bombardment of euphoric waves hits from the first toke to the last. It is almost as if these cannabis seeds remove your consciousness from your body. Your mind becomes completely free, travelling at supersonic speeds along the cosmic highways. Any feelings of negativity, anxiety, or depression are left in the dust.

Her 22% THC focusses firmly on the mind, while the impact on the body is mild but reassuringly relaxing. The only downside to AMG is that she is not a mid-morning or before-work kind of strain. Her place is by your side after a tough day at the office. It is here she will take your hand and guide you into blissful euphoria.

Her Increased Flowering Time Yields Rewarding Results
Growing is simple enough. She is neither fussy nor overcomplicated when it comes to balancing the different aspects of your grow room. The combination of decent yields, both indoors and out, with her slightly extended growing time may be off-putting for some growers. However, do not underestimate the sheer potency of the forbidden fruit she creates. Amnesia Mac Ganja is one of the most popular strains among Dutch coffeeshops for good reason. Her complete control of your mind outweighs any potential criticism.

Not sure how sensible it is to plan making seeds with a strain before even growing it. That said, I do it all the time too. :)

I think I read that before thinking I might like to keep the strain going
Whoever wrote that could be a novelist :)
