Has anyone had mealy bugs?

I bought a Rosemary plant from the nursery at Christmas and unfortunately mealy bugs showed up on it about a month ago. I hit it with FPE made with Lavender blossoms and that wiped them out easily but I must have missed some eggs because they came back. They are not getting on my MMJ which is vegging right next to it (indoors). I googled the life cycle of the bugs which is 1 to 3 weeks. The plan is to hit them every week with alternating Lavender FPE and the next week with Neem.


My questions are: Will the mealy bugs bother the MMJ when it goes outside in a few weeks? Will my plan for spraying wipe them out?

If it was a rosemary bush or weed i'd burn that rosemary bush. Or find stuff they like other than weed.. If they are chemicaly sprayed and then get onto plants the plants could still suffer..

They will get on your cannabis they have show up in my buddy's greenhouse the last 2 years
